ADAM (Aaron Paul) is a successful Mortgage Broker, but has a terrible accident that puts him in a wheel chair and thru months of grueling therapy both physical and emotional. A Very Dramatic Movie with Rich characters and Story that is both Inspiring and Heartfelt and a little Sad. Great Cast of Actors !! Lena Olin nails the Russian accent of her role. Tom Berenger plays Adam's Father . Filmed In Detroit MI and for some reason it took 8 years to be released ? Odd as this is a well put together production ! Funny at times too. 😆 on Amazon Prime.

Speaking as someone who suffered the exact same injury as Adam. I could relate to this film. Whilst I didn't have a high powered job like Adam, I know what it's like when you break a small bone in your neck can have such a traumatic effect on your life.

Overnight you lose your job your house my girlfriend left me. And most of all your independence Having to rely on family members carers just to do the most simplest task that you previously took for granted, like dressing going to the toilet etc. I've seen a few films about disability, and whilst it is not without faults it's about as close to the truth as I have seen in a movie.

Aaron Paul does a decent job in the role, clearly he has studied the problems faced by severely disabled people. And the support cast are all good having to cope with Adams frustrations 8/10

This is a film that made me laugh and made me cry. The acting is superb and the characters were very engaging. It opened my eyes to the struggles and hardships and I feel glad that I watched it to be able to appreciate that my own problems are comparatively minor.

Aaron Paul - very talented actor, but unfortunately, wildly underappreciated

This true story of a mortgage salesman becoming quadriplegic is interpreted very well by Aaron Paul and the other actors (it's good to see Tom Berenger again), believable and touching.
