Anecdotes
Janet Weiss (who was Carrie's band-mate in Sleater-Kinney) was originally supposed to play the role of the Mayor's wife. Last minute she became sick & suggested Joanna Bolme (who was Janet's band-mate in SM & the Jicks) to play the part instead of her.

Gaffes
When the Clerk at the phone store discovers the Mayor's location on a digital map, Carrie announces he is in North West Portland. The map actually shows him to be located in inner South East Portland.
