this was a good movie enjoyable and entertaining. even if it could use some adjustment to the screen play and the moment right before the wedding could be done more professionally but over all it was a good movie.and let me tell you , all wedding movies are cliché but at least this one wasn't all about s e x , nudity and getting f ucked up the night before the wedding on the bachelor party which ruins the wedding day like other "rom com s". this one had more sense, for me it was a fine funny and entertaining movie.if you liked American pie: the wedding then you gonna love this cause its way more better than that and have less crazy and more laughter. so give it a shot "if you don't enjoy it you definitely wont regret it".
I'm an 18 year old teen journalist so here's a young perspective! I thought it was awesome!
The Knot is a fun-filled film full of funny moments and excellent British cinematography. Throughout the movie two characters (a couple who are good friends of the bride and groom) film the entire wedding. I particularly liked this element as this is exactly what our generation is like! We're constantly capturing moments, whether that be through Instagram or making Youtube videos and sharing it on Facebook and Twitter. It was relevant, memorable and oozed modern humour - Noel Clarke's and Brett Goldstein's delivery was jokes!
Great choice of cast, an eclectic mix of British talent joined by Hollywood star Mena Suvari - names both older and younger audiences are familiar with/can relate to.
I went to two screenings, one packed with an industry audience the other was a public screening. Both crowds showed their enjoyment, there was lots of laughter and overall a positive vibe.
I'd recommend it to my college mates, couples and anyone who fancies a good fun night out!

This movie is a mix of everything... A bit of hangover, bridesmaid, Imagine Me & You, Love Actually... The story-line has nothing brand new, yet I think the writers have done an amazing job in branding all the bright-spots together and make this a pleasantly enjoyable movie. I also think the slow pace of the movie helps you to digest and treasure the wickedness and funniness of the script more, but it's certainly not the cup of tea for everybody.
As an amateur film maker I love how the footage from the Canon 5D adds an extra dimension to the movie without compromising on the image quality. The director have made use of clever camera placement which gives a documentary touch and bring a level of reality to the entire movie.

Alex and Jeremy are getting married. Nothing can go wrong....can it? It's the morning of the wedding. People have to get ready for the most important day in these two people's lives. But there are some hitches in the run up to the wedding such as the ring disappearing into somewhere no one should ever venture, a car that looks like it's come straight from Pimp My Ride, torn suits, tummy troubles, big pants and a missing bridesmaid.
From the start, there are laugh out loud moments as we join the bride and groom on their journeys from home to the altar. Will Jeremy ever get to the church on time? What happens when Alex has an attack of nerves? The Knot is a fun, light-hearted comedy which will have you laughing to the end. Definitely one to see and enjoy the fun!

Comedy is a tough genre, but it also can be very easy. It's always good to get young British acting talent together to make your movie, which is the case here. But this does not always hit the spot, trying to be as funny as possible, instead almost talking itself into a full stop time and time again.
Some jokes are good though and while this isn't anything like "Big fat British wedding" (taking in the whole experience from both sides and with a group of friends), it does have quite a few cheap jokes that you'll either think are hilarious or just plain juvenile. Especially pranks right before the wedding are a "favorite" ... or that one line you say too loud in a building which almost ruins everything (though the resolution to that is far too simple). It's decent, nothing more, nothing less
