The Trainer

I didn't know what to expect going into this movie, but one thing is certain - The Trainer is one of the most unique, original films I've ever seen. Many traditional norms are broken, but in a way that feels cohesive and compelling. Solid performances all around, dynamic cinematography, but for me the standout is the editing, pacing, and graphics. I, for one, welcome Tony Kaye's return to form, and would encourage folks to check it out.

This is not a movie for everyone, but if you want to watch something different, while sitting on the edge of your seat, then it's definitely for you. Highly recommended.

The TRAINER is a very unique, brilliant and artistic film. It is like no other movie i've ever watched before. Vito Schanbel provides an incredible performance, and I find it very admirable and inspiring that he also wrote the script and made his project come to life. There are several performances throughout this film that are quite impressive; most notably Julia Fox as Jack's love interest. Tony Kaye is truly an artist and an absolute icon. The visuals and graphics in this movie are not only next level but also quite trailblazing. Furthermore, what led me to rate this a 10 is the underlying inspiring story of authenticity and truth. BRAVO and congrats to Tony and Vito!

A zany yet weirdly heartfelt send-up of celebrity-obsessed influencer culture, with wellness and fitness "gurus" peddling snake oil they may or may not actually believe in. THE TRAINER defies easy categorization, but it will certainly be unlike anything you've seen. Vito Schnabel and Julia Fox deliver committed performances, and the many celebrity cameos are a lot of fun.

Tony Kaye's The Trainer is the most original movie I've seen this year! From the very beginning, it pulls you in with compelling characters, especially Vito's incredible breakout performance as Jack Flex. His portrayal of a dreamer overcoming adversity is inspiring and heartfelt, resonating with audiences of all ages. Julia Fox also shines, bringing depth and charisma to her role, perfectly complementing Vito's energy.

Tony Kaye, the visionary director behind American History X, proves his mastery again, capturing raw emotion and crafting a story that feels authentic, uplifting, and unforgettable. A must-watch!
