Avis à la une
Craig Giles (writer/producer), Daniel Widdowson (director), Amanda Giles (story editor/producer), Mason Grady (producer/cinematography) Charles Davidson (editor) and the rest of the film's creative team have carefully crafted a drama/thriller about sex trafficking in Australia. The issue is worldwide in its scope and though the details may differ from country to country, the theme remains the same: the powerful exploit the powerless for profit. Special shout-outs to actors Kaitlyn Boye, Jennifer Corren. Shane Emmett. Jessica. Marchi, Mary-Ann Halpin, Amanda Hedges, Yannick Lawry, Kelly McRae, Annette Melton, Ana Thu Nguyen, Ross Pearson, Nico Jaffers and Daniel Widdowson.

Amanda and Craig Giles made a beautiful movie with a powerful storyline that highlights Human Trafficking. They believed in this global issue so much they did whatever it took to bring it to the screen. Lots of heart and undying belief. Had the privilege of meeting them. Their heart and passion is undeniable and cannot wait to see what they bring to the screen next!
The two main characters were lovable and also quite relatable because of their essences. Casting overall was on point. You can feel everyone hired on the film cared a great deal for the story, cause, and each other.
Was a tremendous honor to experience it.

Get Free, produced by Craig and Amanda Giles, is a powerful and eye-opening film that every parent should see. From start to finish, the movie grips you with its intense storyline and serves as a stark reminder of just how vulnerable young people can be to the horrors of human trafficking. This isn't just a thriller; it's a wake-up call that shines a light on an issue we often think is "far away," but is in fact dangerously close to home. Get Free goes beyond just storytelling; it opens up conversations that are crucial for every parent and guardian. Watching this movie, you can't help but feel the urgency to talk to your kids, to help them understand how even seemingly harmless encounters can lead to dangerous situations. This film makes it clear that no one is immune, and the threats are closer than we often realize.
Craig Giles (writer/producer), has delivered and exceptionally relevant Australian drama that uncovers a very real and tragic reality uncovering the blunt dangers of trafficing at a grass roots level. Daniel Widdowson (director and lead) has woven together realistic plausible and tragically accurate portrails of how young women are trafficked and how rings operate. Amanda Giles (story editor/producer) and Mason Grady (producer/cinematography) with Charles Davidson (editor) are a team to watch as they have delivered a world class product. Kaitlyn Boye, Jennifer Corren. Shane Emmett and Jessica Marchi were exceptional. Mary-Ann Halpin, Amanda Hedges, Yannick Lawry, Kelly McRae, Annette Melton, Ana Thu Nguyen, and Nico all delivered solid performances and gave the storyline the Realism required to deliver the message with punch and panache. I fully recommend this film and cannot comment without referencing how refreshing it is to see a film tackle a subject which is unfortunately often swept under the carpet. The reality of the sex trafficking industry portrayed is difficult to accept and more difficult to confront.
Within the first 5 minutes of the movie, I was already gripped by the uncomfortable issue of human trafficking. It clearly depicted the complexity of the issue, the difficulty in stopping it, and also how much bravery and courage is required to overcome it.
The story skilfully wove the paths of different characters together, and climaxed in a way that resolved the plot without taking away the importance and urgency of human trafficking.
As a parent, Get Free is a difficult film to watch, but it is an important one. It is a film that everyone should see, as it raises awareness of this important issue and shows the human cost of human trafficking.
