The idea behind this horror short is nice: we follow a man enjoying a relaxing time at home when someone knocks at the door. What creates the unique atmosphere here is the ridiculously long hallway in his apartment and the camera following the man, combined with the clever use of varying music volume levels to emphasize the distance from the source of the music. This effect beautifully contrasts the fun he's having in the living room with the horror waiting for him at the door. Good things happen in one place, bad things in another - and of course, as this is a horror short, it's the latter we're really here to see. As I understand it, the original idea came from a Patron member, so kudos to whoever suggested it.
