Justin Wadlington had every reason to fail in life: an inner-city kid who lost his dad young, whose mom was schizophrenic, who was placed in the foster home system before his teens and never received a formal art education. Yet, somehow he found the inner strength to tap into his amzing talent and thrive.
This documentary feels homy sometimes. It's not a high budget production. I love documentaries like this because they succeed or fail on their own merits, not on high budget gimmicks. And this one succeeds because it's a powerful story about a kind man receiving and giving love through his art. Check it out.
