Her Scent

It very rarely happens when a sequel is better than the first part, but in the case of the Scent film it does not happen. This is a very good sequel and the way the story moves forward is great. This is a much better paced film compare to the first part. The story is much easier to understand with great visuals, but I don't know why some scene are just too dark.

The music of this film is also outstanding like the first part and I feel it's used better here unlike the first part where it was over used. I really like the variations of the theme track.

Overall this is a very good film and a great sequel. I am happy to see the quality of indie films is getting better. I just hope more platform have more indie films like this.

I saw this first part couple of months ago and then came across this film not knowing it's the sequel. This makes me understand the ending of the first part better.

Overall this is a great second edition to a decent film. The same story continues with the addition of a couple of new characters. I really liked the guy telling the story and how seamlessly he was integrated in the story.

Speaking of performances, everyone did a decent job although the focus remain on two characters.

All that being said, I don't understand why this film is shot in anamorphic because the blue streaks get a bit annoying at times. Also for some reason some scene are too dark in this film too like the first one. But beside these issues it's a good watch and I'd recommend this film.
