I came to this as it felt like there was a lot that should work on paper, some interesting cast and an intriguing premise. Certainly, there's plenty of intrigue in the first episode, but sadly it's all downhill from there. And for a comedy, there are nearly zero laughs to be found.
Gelman's performance is enormous, the direction is so colorful that it's sickly. Perhaps both of those are attempts to bring some comedy to the show, but they are sorely misguided. The tone veers all over the place, operating in such aimless extremes that it will leave you feeling totally lost, and with little of it making any sense at all.
What it makes for is a show that is trying so hard to tell you how good and funny it is, without actually being either. A real disappointment.

When I first started watching this show, I was slightly apprehensive that it was just going to be another television show that was going to be repetitive and use the same plot as everyone else. It ended up having some amazing twists and turns that I did not see coming and I normally am one that can see those way in advance! With that being said, I think that this is a series anyone that loves a dash of comedy with an addition of horror to it should watch because it is absolutely fantastic. I would suggest it 1000 times over if I could. Because of the ratings that I saw which I deemed unfair due to the fact that it is underrated for how well written it is and how incredible the cast, and the storyline go the only thing I am upset about is the fact that it doesn't have a follow up season!

I don't watch much tv, nor have I been impressed with horror flicks since the 90's faces of de@th. If you're looking for a recommendation of something comedic, twisty turny, kinda gory but not actual horror, genuine absolute suspense... I recommend Netflix show Entitled. Every episode had my mind reeling, wondering what could be getting to happen next. There was constant suspense and thrill to every episode and I could not wait to consume more of it. It has for every bizarre reason captivated me as well as scratched my horror itch. What a plot twist too! I am very sad to be done with this show.
Starts off intriguing, middling from episodes 3-6, then an ultimately atrocious ending that is Lost-esque with the writers writing themselves into a corner.
While there is solid acting by the family throughout, many loose threads story-wise leave the watcher confused during the show's 8 episode run. Unfortunately, a waste of a potentially good premise with a yawn-worthy twist.
Without going into any spoilers, as soon as the end credits rolled I was immediately asking myself what happened to several supporting cast. Tiny, loosely woven threads appeared during the last 10 minutes of the series but this felt incredibly rushed and insulting as a viewer that watched for 8 episodes.
The show was marketed as "from the creators of Fleabag" - both shows couldn't be further apart. 2/10.

This show is a damn good show. Acting is phenomenal, setting is eerie and plot keeps getting thicker. Anyone who is downtalking the show due to asking questions at the end is missing the point of a mystery. I was enthralled from start to finish and had some great laughs along the way as well as some very uneasy moments of dread. Some negative comments were about being confused by certain instances of the show not being explained by the end but I bet the critics watched it all the way there pretty quickly. Here's hoping for season 2 in the pipeline to answer those questions left at the end, I'll certainly be looking out for it.
