Growing up with his famous roping father in Bandera Texas (The Cowboy Capital Of The World) Will has been engaging with the still living legends and trick roping himself since 9 years old. The footage, still shots and interviews tell the story of a proud and competitive sport that has barely survived changing tides and cultures. This doc will go a long way to spur and preserve young ropers. The directors first project out of film school is LEGIT! Go see it, stream it but don't forget about it.

It covers a great history of trickroping up to where it is today, including how it started, the wild west shows, and prominent trickropers of the past and present. Beautifully and cleanly filmed, great interviews, and a wonderful story. It is evident that the filmmaker and his interviewees are passionate about their craft and sharing it with the world. I can definitely see this film inspiring a new generation of trickropers to carry on this rich heritage.
