Ira!: Flores em Você

Possibly one of the greatest poetic song of the 1980's and with Ira! Presenting their most sublime and most beautiful song of all time, "Flores em Você" is a true definitive classic that showed to people that rock n'roll is more than just noise, it can also bring greater artistic and classical element such as the use of a string quartet to make it a perfect sonorous masterpiece.

The music video, however, isn't so appealing, it's awfully dated and there's almost nothing special about seeing Nasi, Scandurra and company having a stroll in the park at the same time there's some minor appearances from the string quartet performing their act. That's pretty much it but the sound, the melody, the music and the great poetry displayed on the lyrics that makes it a very appealing moment for Ira!, and the song got plenty of attention after its inclusion in the soap opera "O Outro" (1987) where it became the opening theme, beautifully filmed in São Paulo and edited in time-lapse effect. 8/10.
