Office Invasion

After I watch this movie, I couldn't rate. So I read reviews. Very mixed results, like I felt after watched. The movie has definitely 'African humour' inside and I believe some didn't get it. It is cliché at some angles (story), but yet make you smile. If you expect Hollywood style filtering, multi-camera angles, action pack etc. ;well do not. Budget limitations could be recognized.

Actor performance was really good. Sometimes actors overly exaggerating certain traits. I think it maybe confuse with over acting, I think it is performed deliberately, to make fun of the characters.

The movie could be found childish/ geeky, family oriented but it will throw harsh reality to our face in sugar coated form.

I gave 8, because it is not an epic, it is not rare- pure art purposed and shouted. However, it is fun to watch. Grab some pop-corn, relax and enjoy. I did.

Saw randomly on Netflix, and this would be my first time watching an African produced movie.

This movie is okay, there isn't really anything impressive about it. Rather the flaw or issue with this film, the story was bouncing around too much. It would of been more effective if Office Invasion stuck to just one theme as a whole instead of trying to messily tackle comedy, sci fi, business themes, and action.

The execution could of been a lot better if this movie explained more on why certain "things" happened. There are several moments in the movie where scenes are just inserted for no reason and somehow, everyone acccepts it like its normal. To the point where im questioning the common sense of some of the characters to the point of being bizarre.

The comedy level is....only at the minimum sadly. Kind of a shame the other issues can prevent you from truly being attached to this movie.

I couldn't take it after the first 20 minutes. Is it supposed to be funny or just crazy awkward?

Not one line or scene would ever take place in real life. Which isn't always a problem in movies...if they're funny in any way.

I'm really trying my best to understand how anyone involved in this movie thought a single bit of it was working.

If you're looking for funny and easy to watch after a long day this won't do you wrong. It's super dumb but really funny. Lags in the middle a bit but finishes well. Actors are great, writing is witty, storyline is different, effects were surprisingly good.

To begin with, let me say that this is a watchable movie and that's it. There is nothing special here that would push this film above some other films. Up to more than half of the film, the story moves drastically slowly and what's worst is that it's not interesting at all, I'd even say that something similar to a drama is going on in the background a that time. On the other hand, after more than half of the film's duration, the story moves too quickly, in a very short space of time they place a science fiction character and the concluding part of the story related to that genre and theme. For a science fiction film, there are too few visual effects, the ones that exist are at a solid level. You can watch it, but it's nothing special!
