Poor Herman

My thoughts ... unless you hate horror films or dark comedy, ya can't hate this film. I don't see any bad reviews yet but I'm sure they'll sneak their way in. The satire makes fun of different areas in modern society, so not any agenda or political side preference. I don't advise anyone to watch who doesn't have sense of humor or laugh at the intentionally dumb fun girls.... prob not a film for elderly or rigid or super young. A lot of swearing and suggestive behavior. I really liked this film a lot but I enjoy the humor and the characters. So only recommend to peeps who share an open minded, non "judgmental" religious or political view point... all in good humor and fun.

Although the comedy was borderline ludacris and the frenemies were ditsy beyond belief, the comedic relief helped tremendously lighten up the darkness of the film.

The frenemies definitely enticed me to watch the film, but in actuality, if you really pay attention to the film, there are true underlying messages especially around Herman. I don't want to give anything away but the journey of Herman really breaks your heart, and gives a new understanding to "why" he is the way he is.

I highly recommend this film for good laughs but also to have compassion and understanding for the fellow human. You never know what someone is facing behind closed doors.

It was more than just another Halloween horror film, and carries more depth. Hilarious and raw. The whole cast was excellent. I have to scale it on the higher score of horror comedy indie films. I will definitely watch it again and recommend to others for the humor and the genuine "human" aspect.

I read a review claiming this piece of junk to be a 10 rated satire comedy horror movie. Well it was hardly a 1 rated piece f junk and if I were able to go on the negative side of the polling schedule, this one would be around minus 10 for it's extreme lameness, poor execution, terrible acting, bad scripting and ludicrous plot development.

I have no idea what movie those who gave this any thing above a 2 at most must have watched. Because it sure wasn't the complete and utter nonsense that I put myself through trying to find the 10 rating that I read from smithbrandy-73011.

Maybe if I had a few magic mushrooms prior to watching this, the trip factor might have given this monstrosity a kick in the funny direction. But as it stands now, I am surprised and bewildered that this project was funded by well adjusted individuals.

Take my advise and avoid at all cost, unless you want your sensibilities to be fried by the nimcompoopery you will be required to endure for the duration of this film.

The comedy cues are freakin funny and the music sounds crept me out on the scary scenes.

Great creepy awkward soundtrack. Acting was superb and will keep following these performers to see what they do next .... It's goofy and pretty dark and superrr sad (and disturbing, but then again "satire", eyy?) in areas, but a good funny indie. I'd say, one of the better dark indie horrors in a longgg time... more humor, which came natural in this film with actors chemistry it seems and what's often needed in average horror to even entice me....

Didn't hear sound issues as I saw in a different previous review, though some jokes were quiet to catch but too good, so I did flip subtitles on and died laughing. Was a dope film and I watched with Amazon Prime, great quality on that streaming service ... more so than on FlixWest in my opinion... so streaming service does makes a quality difference, though FlixWest is awesome to cater to indie films and applaud their efforts.

The acting is terrible.

The sound is terrible.

The camera work is terrible.

The lighting is terrible.

The story (as far as I watched of it) is.... terrible.

I knew this would be the case as the reviews are all TEN'S. C'mon people, if you're going to make fake reviews so as to boost the rating, at least go with something reasonable. Maybe try a SEVEN, people will still watch a film that's a seven.

But, what they know is that all real reviews will be ONE'S, so it will make the rating plummet like a brick.

I managed to watch about thirteen minutes of this bilge before knowing I'd seen enough.

Steer clear, ignore the bum reviews.
