Muzzle

Like a few of the festivals we've found our way into with our work, the Muzzle festival has been lovely to work with, and delightful to have as a supporter of the work.

Frankly, the only point-deductions from us at Active Voice is confusion about the name/logo/theme of the festival that didn't seem fully explained beyond a general vibe of cool, perhaps kink-friendly... readiness to engage muzzled voices? We're really not sure.

We recognize, though that this is a young festival, finding its way and we wholly support it as it takes root!

As an opportunity for true independents, it seems a terrific venture. Microbudget cinema like ours finds few routes to the public eye. We appreciate festivals like Muzzle building out the mediascape to reach beyond studio grandiosity and franchise spectaculars.

Thanks for choosing or song. Don't Wait For Something Bad to Turn Good. We appreciate having been selected. Yes, the festival is off to start and will hopefully continue to develop and grow. It takes time! I am happy to have been a part of this initial star.

I am hopeful that this festival will continue to grow and find its way to the top. Although we were not selected as winners this time, it was still very good to be nominated.

There are now many film festivals and it takes a lot to stand out but Muzzle is on it's way. I would like to see how the film festival title and logo connect within the industry.

As a proud winner of the short screenplay section, I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this prestigious competition. I eagerly anticipate the growth and future of this event, and look forward to submitting additional screenplays in the years to come. While I had initially entered the competition with the hope of showcasing my work and potentially earning recognition, winning the grand prize greatly exceeded my expectations. Despite being a rough draft that had recently undergone revisions and further edits, I was delighted with the final outcome. I respectfully encourage the organizers to continue providing this platform for aspiring and established screenwriters to showcase their talents, and look forward to seeing it flourish in future years.
