Sons of God: Fallen Angels Explored

This documentary explores different theories on who the "Sons of Men" in Genesis 6 refers to. It does not make a judgement on the various points of view (until the very last when the producer briefly recounts his own).

Its format is well done, moving from one scholar to the next, and most are easy to follow even for someone without a lot of previous knowledge.

The music throughout is a terrible techno-style with weird lyrics that distracts from the quality of the film. I hit the mute button more than once. At the end, the video editor has good things to say, but talks too long. Lastly, don't film yourself with sunglasses on when trying to connect with viewers.

Overall, well worth watching. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with next.

By the end of the documentary, I came to the conclusion that the sons of God means the angels of God and that the first book of Enoch (also known as the Ethiopian Enoch) is most likely scripture as it is referenced in the book of Jude for instance.

It came to mind that it is not by coincidence that an Ethiopian Eunuch was evangelised to by Philip, before Philip was carried away by the Spirit, possibly in a similar way that Enoch was carried by the Holy Spirit.

The play on words (Enoch and Eunuch) is not accidental. The transporter in both instances is the Writer of the Bible (The Holy Spirit).
