CD Player

In "CD Player", Alexandre Slaviero plays Billy, a handsome young dude who doesn't let his marriage status to prevent him from meeting all the pretty women who comes his ways, whether being friends and acquaintances the couple have in common or even his maid all fall to his charm and seduction. Up until the day a friend of his decide to make a prank of him, already knowing about his infidelities, and steals the CD player of his car to make involved in some confusion with his wife (Dani Suzuki). But will the plan succeed or not?

A slightly curious cliched story about cheating spouses that get noticeable because of actor Marcos Pasquim credit as a director (along with João Júnior) and they even created a sequel "CD Player Máskaras" also featuring the main couple. It's basic routine where you see a lucky man scoring one girl after another and avoiding problems at home while his devoted wife stand by him without knowing about his escapades. Mildly entertaining, the typical story of confused relationships where you wonder why people commit to a marriage/romance when in fact one is always thinking about cheating their partner. Meh...but it was kind of funny to watch the imaginative scenarios of Billy fantasizing with the women he meets.

Only gets a special note for the presence of Max Fercondini, which is rare on films or short films, and he's part of the curious plot twist of the story. It was worth waiting for his special apperance. 6/10.
