Die Mittagsfrau

No pun intended - I would not say that we have progressed to a point where both genders (or all genders I reckon) can be called equal. It's a long way to go still. But there was a time when women had it even worse. And I reckon the movie depicting a woman that is quite strong, that has a powerful message, that does things she loves to do (without thinking too much about her husband) ... well that is almost not thought of, especially back in the day this is taking part in and plays.

Really good actors involved - who are needed to convey the moral complexities, but also the high stakes for all involved ... people taking risks. A little German movie that could - drama baby, but well executed! No pun intended as always.
