    Brilliant.

Brilliant episode of a brilliant show.

We don't yet know if this was merely a season finale or an actual series finale, but either way, i absolutely love the show, and loved this episode in particular.

Curious to know what comes next, if anything, but despite being happy with this conclusion, i'm left wanting more, much more, from these characters.

I was curious when they first announced the show, as a 'fleshed-out' show based on the "Ted Lasso" character used by NBC to advertise the Premier League (if i recall correctly), and they even used many of the same jokes used on that skit early on, but it evolved into something very, very special, that i am very happy to have experienced.

Thank you to everyone involved in the show, it's been amazing, and i hope there's more in the future since some storylines could use some expanding.

I want to be a goldfish

I wish I had the memory of a gold fish and could start over. This final episode belongs among the list of perfect things. All my wishes and hopes, things I couldn't even dare to dream of happened. All because Ted Lasso taught me to believe.

Thank you to the entire team behind this masterpiece. Writers take note. This is how you successfully end a groundbreaking, heartwarming show about the ups and downs of an American coach in a foreign country coaching a sport he doesn't even comprehend. It's that easy.

No, but seriously. Wicked. Or as some would say, kinky boots.

I'll miss my weekly biscuits with the boss.

Stans want blood, most fans couldn't be more happy

Ted Lasso, a show about personal growth amidst trauma, prioritized character development over romantic relationships. As the series progressed, it had moments that felt like a fairy tale, showcasing endless optimism even during its darkest moments. The show stood out with its mix of fun, crazy antics, and profound monologues on the human condition, making it a unique and unexpected sports-themed dream.

In the finale, Ted made a firm decision that nothing could change. While fans may have desired resolution in romantic relationships for closure, the showrunners primarily focused on the characters' personal journeys, their professional success, and most importantly, their significant personal growth.

The montage in the finale showcased the characters' expected or understandable conclusions in their endeavors. Undoubtedly, there will be complaints, but it's important to note that many people may not have fully understood the show's underlying message.

While a spin-off is a possibility, it's doubtful that we'll see Ted Lasso return in a meaningful way.

Love it or hate it, the show brought a supply of joy at the exact right time, and I personally can't thank those involved enough for their effort.

Ignore the haters, this is perfection

Ted Lasso series 3 has had it's critics often choosing to pick on ridiculous things like the length of the episodes, the excessive focus on characters / relationships & the lack of football.

But what Ted Lasso has always done is not entirely surcome to hollywood stereotypes of predictable storylines & this last episode is the same.

Wrapping up Ted Lasso the writers manage to deliver an emotional episode without all the obvious cliched stories but enough that everyone gets some sort of happy ending.

Personally I loved it & as far as I'm concerned it's as close to perfection as a comedy/drama gets.

    You will be missed

If you were to tell me that a 5 minute long YouTube video starring Jason Sudeikis playing a clueless football manager would somehow make it into one of the best TV shows in modern history and win countless Emmy awards I would laugh at you.. Here we are 3 years later and I'm not laughing, in fact I'm sad to see it end. I came for the football part but I stayed for the characters and their stories, these characters are now a part of me and they will be until I die. Even though the ending was very decent, I would love for them to make more seasons.. I feel like it has much more to offer!

Thank you to everyone involved in this beautiful show. You will be rememered fondly <3.

After the game, Jason Sudeikis does the same dance that he does in the "What's up with that" skit on SNL. This dance had also appeared in the very first episode of Ted Lasso, in a video of him with his US football team.
    • Gaffes
As Isaac McAdoo is stepping up to take a penalty for AFC Richmond, the commentator says he's taking it from 18 yards - that would actually be the edge of the box. The penalty spot is located 12 yards from goal.
