Mp2v

Mp2v is far, far, far away from the glowing reviews the extremely obvious friends, family and crew are saying on IMDB. This is about as horrendous as a low budget horror movie gets. Let's just start with the biggest problem with this movie, which are easily the performances. The actors are atrocious! They're either overly wooden or over top goofy. These aren't problems in themselves in the right cheese fest of a movie. But in a film like this that tries to sell it self as a dark and violent serial killer road movie. It just makes it more unwatchable as it goes till to Its incredibly stupid ending. Which by then you'll be checked out enough that it won't even matter what's going. You'll just be happy its over.

First off, don't worry, there's no spoiler here...one of the best things about this movie is that it leaves you with just as many questions as answers. Watch it with a room full of people and you'll all be talking about it for hours - it definitely gets inside your head and challenges you.

Another great thing is that this movie dispenses with all the stock Hollywood clichés that have been regurgitated over and over again for decades. No overly glamorous actors, no lame soundtrack pop songs every 10 minutes, no predictable and conveniently neat ending, etc.

This film is hard to pin down to any one genre. It's part slasher flick, part indie, part art-house, and it even has a few dark comedy moments. It's not about incessant screaming and gallons of blood and gore. Rather, it's an eerie, unnerving, chilling/disturbing and creepy adventure...with some blood and gore along the way for good measure!

This movie will play with your mind from beginning to end. I have never seen anything like this. I totally agree with the previous reviews & appreciate the omission of the Hollywood clichés & the overly glamorous cast. Part of what makes this movie cutting edge is the way it invites its audiences in. At one point in the movie it makes you believe you're actually playing a role in it. It will send chills down your spine. The mp2v.com website leaves you with an uneasy feeling, questioning if its actually a movie or reality. Maybe it's a game, maybe it's not. I was on the edge of my seat confused but yet intrigued.

So, MPV2 will play with your mind. You'll definitely be lost throughout the film, but that's the amazing aspect. MPV2 will make you think, question, guess (wrong), and just be outright confused and disturbed. I recently watched this movie with a few friends, and the whole time everyone was saying basically "what the f**k?" Caution: some parts are just freaky in general, and it will send chills down your spine thinking about it. So if you're looking for movie to talk to friends after to put the pieces together, kind of be a movie detective, and then watch it again to pick up of the small clues throughout! Recommended!
