The Grapes of Guilt

For all the many years that I have been an IMDB user, this is my first review that I have written, but the title deserves it.

This is by far one of the most well written and executed Bulgarian TV shows in the past decade. The plotline is intriguing, the character arcs are well thought and the actors are playing their parts really well.

This is a good family drama with a little bit of a love triangle in between and it has some very interesting plot twists that some may not see coming.

There are some awkward moments here and there, hence the score is 9 and not 10, but overall I really enjoy the story and the acting.

Oh, and by the way, the visuals are stunning. Beautiful panoramas, wide shots and some very good drone work.

My final verdict is that the series is recommended. You should give it a try. It won't disappoint.

The plot is extremely interesting and is very well wine-related. Not too much drama, no effects, no "wishy-washy" talks. The acting is so amazing, very professional and natural. I like the dynamics in the film, the actions happen just in time, not too slow like a turkish drama serial and not too fast to forget what has happened previously. I also love the way series are named and I the way nature is shown around. The sounds and recording are very clear and loud enough which is not typical for a Bulgarian movie.

Brilliant actors, amazing acting game, gorgeous plot. I cant wait for the 2nd season.
