Walter, Grace & The Submarine

This sweet film catches the beauty of a nice midwest town and the accompanying struggles so well! This could well be a love letter to Grand Rapids with it's beautiful cinematography and simple charm. The actors have such amazing chemistry you have to see it to believe it, they really draw you in and the walk and talk style gives you a feeling of being there. I've seen it several times (on festival circuit and now via purchase) and it always feels like time spent with old friends.

Hats off to both actors who set the screen ablaze with their chemistry but who's choices keep us grounded and locked into each moment. Well done!

An adorable film that beautifully highlights the magic of Grand Rapids while enjoying a sweet slowburn. The acting created a comfortable watch right off the bat that makes you feel like you are watching two friends engage. The production value creates a highly professional and classy feel to the film despite this being the director's first movie. Gillian Noonan in conjunction with the post production team have rocked this film whose experience should not be undermined. Overall, an excellent film which is a comforting and cozy watch. This movie makes you happy to be a Grand Rapids native and fulfills my need for a touch of romance!
