Paradox

An OK'ish low budget sci-fi movie with an somewhat interesting premise that involves parallel universes and it's the first movie I have seen that uses the quantum suicide machine. The parallel universes weren't handled in the way that many world's theory suggest's so that was a disappointment. The visual effects and cgi are pretty bad, but understandable given the low budget of the movie. The acting is poor, especially the Asian professor. The movie isn't completely trash however. There are some interesting moment's and set pieces (if you want to call it that), but overall I would not recommend it.

I really enjoyed this film. It's up there on the philosophical and intellect spectrum so not everyone is going to get it, but if you like films that require a great deal of thinking, it's right up your alley. It is low budget, but looks way better than most of the low budget films I've seen like Pi and Primer that reminded me of it. I actually watched this several times, because it's the type of film that sticks with you and leaves you thinking about it long after you've seen it the first time. If you are a science fiction lover and enjoy the "thinking man's film", then this film is for you. This is the first movie I've seen about the quantum suicide machine, but I did a great of deal research on it after watching it. I was very impressed at how the film took the subject matter and was able to combine it into a really heart felt love story. Highly recommend checking it out if you can find it!

I went into this movie somewhat hesitant because it didn't look very professional from the thumbnails. However, once I started watching it I was grabbed and riveted throughout. If you like time travel movies in the science fiction genre, this will certainly interest you. I've seen some negative reviews on this but have to assume that these people just didn't get the intricacies of the Sci-Fi aspect. You really have to think through a good part of this. I admit, but it's not hard to figure out the whodunit aspect, but the movie will grab your interest. One thing I noticed, there are no opening credits, you get right into the movie and all the credits are listed at the end. That's the way to start a movie.

This has to be one of the dumbest movies I have seen in a long time. I really wanted to abandon a half hour in but I stuck around to see how bad it got. It certainly did not get any better. Mostly the acting was awful. The acting reminded me of a high school play. The story made no sense at all. Basically the last 20 minutes were a rehash of the rest of the move told from a different perspective. Pass by this one.
