Watched the first 30 min in IMAX (technical issues). This is the 4th time this year I experience technical issues in theatres. What is going on in this industry? Anyway...

It looks very promising! There are many quiet scenes, so if you're sensitive to popcorn munchers, you may want to watch it at home. However, it would be a shame to miss out on the IMAX experience.

The IMAX format is wide, so the image was cropped in my theatre. Theatres may vary.

The cinematography is the best of the year. Great camerawork, screenplay, music, editing. Many movies this year have embarrassing cinematography, so this is a must-watch for cinephiles.

I must say, this movie truly has it all - mystery, horror, and excellent storytelling.

Normally, it takes a while for a film to draw me in and build up the suspense, but this one grabs your attention from the very first scene and keeps you hooked all the way through.

The pacing is tight, the atmosphere is intense, and the story unfolds in a way that keeps you constantly curious. I also really appreciated the performances - the acting felt authentic and added depth to the overall experience.

The ending was satisfying, though I gave it 8 stars because a few elements of the mystery remained unresolved - or perhaps intentionally left open to interpretation.

Still, a fantastic film and a must-watch for fans of smart, original horror!

This movie does what it's supposed to do: it keeps you glued to the screen from start to finish. The cast is perfect and the storyline is well designed too. Don't expect a classic horror movie, but rather a psychological thriller/horror that won't bore you at any time. I give it a 9/10 and would watch it again.

Weapons is without a doubt one of the most intense and fascinating horror movies I've ever seen. I rarely give good reviews to any horror film but this one went above and beyond my expectations. The premise is quite simple, a classroom of kids goes missing. It sounds normal, but something about the plot is so eerie and terrifying it keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. The film does a good job of balancing the horror with some comedy to alleviate the underlying tension that is there. Weapons has so many twists and turns that will keep you guessing throughout. Josh Brolin and Julia Garner carry this film. I highly recommend seeing this movie in theaters with an audience, it really makes the experience a whole lot better.

How are people in here giving this 9/10? So if Shawshank redemption is 10/10 this is a 9/10? Come on man! These reviews don't reflect reality, it was a decent movie, nothing I regretted watching, and it had a somehow different story line, which was nice to see. For me this movie for a little bit worse over the time, and less exciting. But 6/10 is not a bad score, it was a "pleasant" movie and I enjoyed it. This felt like a horror/comedy which was a nice new angle to the horror universe. It worked for me! But giving this 9/10 and 10/10 is just ignorant, and giving people false expectations. Expect was it is, which is a horror comedy!
