Avis à la une
Buckle up, my fellow horror fans, because I've just stumbled upon a film that left me in a state of speechlessness - and not in a good way, mind you. Now, I'm not one to write reviews, but this cinematic atrocity has pushed me to do so.
I was feeling generous, so I'm giving a single star towards its well-executed special effects, but in a world where 2023 has raised the bar to sky-high standards, this film barely scrapes the term 'special.' Plus, there's a creepy-looking villain who could easily be mistaken for Art the clown's less intimidating cousin from Terrifier.
Let's talk plot, or should I say, the lack of it. This movie's storyline is so nonsensical that it doesn't deserve the dignified title of a plot. It's a baffling puzzle where every piece is missing, and trying to make sense of it will give you a headache.
To make matters worse, the entire cast of characters in this disaster is a parade of annoyance and unlikability. I'm convinced these actors are the remnants of a bargain-basement, last-resort acting class, and their performances are more cringe-inducing than a middle school talent show.
The dialogue is an absolute chore. It's not the kind of bad that'll have you in stitches like Tommy Wiseau's "The Room," but it's the bad that leaves you scratching your head, wondering how in the world this film ever got the green light.
And let's not forget the most essential part of a horror flick - the scare factor. In this case, there isn't one. It's as if the film-makers tried to conjure terror from a hat (literally), but all they pulled out were a few rabbits that looked more bored than frightening.
To sum it up, "Do Not Waste Your Time" should have been the official tagline of this cinematic disaster. This movie isn't scary, it isn't funny, and it makes as much sense as trying to solve a Rubik's Cube with oven mittson. Save yourself the agony and find something else to watch - anything else.

Downloaded, watched for 1 hour, stopped. Another day another 10 min, stopped and decided to finish watching the rest.
Not scary, acting a bit poor by some actors. Actor on pretending to be Jester did a good job comparing to other actors and they picked wrong actress as supporting actress for Jester.
Don't really know what else to say because it's literally boring movie for most people. I watched over 1k movies and I do like a good horror movies but this is far away from a good horror movie. I think as well huge mistake was on making all deaths slow because made feel movie as even more slower...

The movie is good until 3/4 the way through and then, it gets confusing. It lost me. I got bored. The Jester guy is a great villain. I wish the rest of the movie was better. I can't put my finger on what it needs. Something is missing. Maybe better music would have given it more momentum? They could have added more Jester scenes and lost some of the boring conversations. The actors were good. The special effects were great. There was some really creepy stuff. It is a great movie for Halloween. I enjoyed the atmosphere. I couldn't tell what was real and what was here imagination and then, I didn't care. It's too bad. I really wanted to like it.
I am a big fan of horror films. So I love to support independent horror movies. So, consequently I noticed this one could be interesting as very similar movies like the great Terrifier. But I was wrong. This can not be categorized as a cheap copy of Terrifier.
First, The Jester as a villain is great. I mean for a b-horror is acceptable. I've watched tons of worst things, including Zombie's strippers. Yes, it's a movíe. So, the big letdown here is the script. It's only interesting 15 minutes. Then it becomes incoherent and impossible to believe if your brain still works. A lot of plot holes, bad acting and the ending is ridiculous.
Second, overall the whole thing is a mess. A wasted opportunity to create something at least decent. So, much potential wasted. C'mon.
Last, I do not recommend this one, even for people that need to choose between washing dishes or watch this abomination.

This movie is very obviously a sad attempt at recreating Art the Clown from Terrifier. The first 5 mins of the movie there are 3 not so terrifying deaths. Nothing original about this movie. If you want to see a movie like this that's actually good I suggest to sticking with All Hallows Eve franchise. The absolute boring overtone of this movie is clearly evident the longer you watch. The mask should have been a dead give a away that this movie was going to be as dull and uneventful as The Black Phone. There was a lot they could have done to make this movie a success. Sadly it seems they put little to no effort into creating a new concept. Like all other scary movies that have come out post covid, this is surely a flop.
