Arranged Love

Arranged Love offers a heartfelt glimpse into the complexities of arranged marriages and the personal struggles that accompany them. The film's exploration of cultural expectations and individual desires is commendable, and the lead performances bring a level of sincerity that helps ground the story. However, despite these positives, the film falls short in several areas. The narrative often feels predictable, following a conventional storyline without introducing much in the way of new perspectives or surprises. The pacing can be uneven, with some scenes dragging on longer than necessary, which can detract from the overall engagement. Additionally, while the film aims to tackle deep themes, it sometimes oversimplifies the complexities of arranged marriages, missing opportunities for a more nuanced exploration.

Overall, the film succeeds in delivering a heartfelt message and features good performances, but its predictability and occasional pacing issues limit its impact. It's a film with good intentions and some emotional depth, but it doesn't fully capitalize on its potential.

Over this past weekend I watched 'Arranged Love' on Bravo Now, and it has been added to my list of favorite Rom Coms, and in fact, I plan to watch it again next weekend with my cousin.

It's funny, empowering, and refreshing. The cast is lovely and the writing kept me engaged throughout the movie.

Additionally, I LOVE the beautiful garments used in the film and enjoyed the Bolly influence, which, for me really set the film apart from other Rom Coms. I've not come across many that step outside the box of traditional plots, but this one does.

It is an overall feel good piece that is absolutely worth cuddling up and popping some popcorn for!

"Arranged Love" is a great story, especially within the uber cliché Rom-Com genre. It's a refreshing break from so many recent Rom-Coms that play out almost exactly the same script, with changes in setting and character names.

The problem is, it's way too Bollywood: It relies too much upon the crutches of melodrama and exoticism, which end up choking the potentially good performances by a solid cast. As a result, what had the potential to be something great ends up being a safety dance -- Bollywood style -- of superficiality, leading us right down the same path of the cliché Rom-Coms I thought for a moment that it just might transcend.

Basically, entertaining, until the shoulder-shrug ending.

Well that was just adorable!!! Just watched "Arranged Love" on the E! Entertainment channel. In this feel good movie, It had everything a good entertaining movie needs... romance, comedy, good acting, and a good message to keep you entertained and feeling good the whole way through! This movie is perfect for a girls night at home to laugh, love and celebrate. This would also be a great movie for a date night in. It will make you smile, laugh and would be a good conversation piece. In a world that can be chaotic and ever changing, everyone needs a wholesome film like this to bring smiles to our faces!
