This is another winner for Bet+!

This fun, action-packed thriller about a dinner party with deadly consequences has good acting, nice scenery, and some great fight scenes. It definitely looks like a much higher budget film than you usually see on cable.

Avoiding spoilers, I'll say this about the plot: a business man plans revenge on people who wronged him. But one of the dinner guests fights back.

Is it perfect? Of course not - no movie is. But it'll keep you entertained from the first minute until the last.

I rated it a 9 because there's no option for 8.5. I also give it extra points for making the most of their budget (this isn't a high-budget Hollywood film) and for the well-choreographed fights.

Would love to see more with the main character!

This movie was terrible. The plot was weak, the acting was bad, especially from the costars. Robert Ri'chard was not on his A game or maybe the movie just didn't fit his style of acting. He should have turned this job down. He is a way better actor than what he did in this production. I think that's why I kept watching. The special effects were so off and disjointed. The emotional aspect was off-putting and non-existent, which I never thought was possible. The creativity was an over reach. I rated it a 3 for effort but it just doesn't stand up to the standards of a really good black film, or any film. I understand budgeting and there is a cost, but there has to to be a better way. The actors are trying to hard to be believed. I applaud the attempt. The last scene, at the house, not necessary and book signing scene was too long.

There are a lot of good things about this new BET flick. It's a business mogul planning to get his revenge, but not everything goes as planned. The last half hour is loaded with fight scenes, deaths, non-stop action and then more fight scenes!

Kudos to the film makers! I'm guessing this wasn't a $20M budget movie, but other than the special effects not always looking like a big budget blockbuster you'd never know. The story is well written and plays out with great pacing. The performances of Natasha Marc and Robert Ri'chard are outstanding, plus Mike Ferguson seems to find a way to steal every scene he is in.

The story revolves around an aspiring author who has to rely on her street smarts and martial arts skills to survive a deadly dinner party after discovering the host's vengeful motives. The suspense builds up beautifully, keeping you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

RSVP does a fantastic job of blending action and intrigue. The last half hour is packed with intense fight scenes, unexpected twists, and non-stop action that keeps you hooked. Despite not having a blockbuster budget, the film's execution is impressive. The special effects might not be Hollywood-level, but they get the job done and don't detract from the overall experience.

The writing is sharp, and the pacing ensures there's never a dull moment. The performances are a standout, with the lead actress delivering a powerful portrayal of a woman fighting for her life. Supporting actors add depth to the story, making every scene engaging and memorable.

Hats off to the filmmakers for pulling off such an entertaining and well-crafted movie. RSVP is a win for its creators and a treat for action-thriller fans. If you enjoy a good revenge story with plenty of twists and turns, this film should definitely be on your watchlist!

So I love everything about movies good acting, bad acting and quality, I can always find something good about it BUT this movie was excellent! I love a great crime/murder/thriller. The acting was top notch. The producing and sequence was great. I didn't want to answer my phone when I received a call during the film. It was refreshing to see the lead male Robert Richard in this role because I had only remembered him as a child actor but in this film he's all grown up and shows versatility. This co-lead is a perfect cast for him as well. I will watch again. Looking forward to more productions and I highly recommend. Thank me later!!
