Newcomer Dharma Jones establishes her strong acting skills in this vignette for Missa X's APOVStory label, giving an irresistible, engaging performance. Hopefully further challenging roles are in her future, not merely the usual gonzo success that most Adult talent opts for in today's industry (where storytelling and acting are at best optional considerations).

She has a confessional talk with her stepdad (played by British actor Clarke Kent in quality pantomime, who is silent in the POV-camera mode), about her being ghosted by a boyfriend Brad, and feeling insecure as a result. In the genre's inevitable role-play format, he agrees to help her boost her self-esteem by participating in "testing" her sexual ability.

Sounds simple, and like most of the label's plot lines it is, but young Dharma is so open and innocent in her acting, while delivering on the explicit sex the fans demand, that the scene develops powerfully and subtly, credit shared by director Ricky Greenwood and his favorite screenwriter Maddy Burton. Early fan reaction is strong, with the segment among APOVStory's highest rated to date.
