Avis à la une
More Heart and Honesty Than Most Live-Action Films
"In Your Dreams" genuinely surprised me. This animation tackles themes far deeper than the usual coming-of-age or classic good-vs-evil storyline. At times I even felt it wasn't really a children's film - the emotional weight placed on the kids, who are trying to save their parents' relationship, is pretty intense. But the world isn't perfect, and that's exactly why this story works.
There's more common sense, sincerity, and emotional truth here than in most live-action films released lately. The animation is beautiful, the message hits hard, and the idea that we're all imperfect yet still have each other... that's the part that stays with you. A must-watch! 💪

Cliché with a Twist
I'm not going to lie you'll notice a lot of cliche things about this & in this film but it's cliche with a hint of oomph to it. I had high expectations for this film and expected something uniquely spectacular just by the title, so i was kind of disappointed to find out that film simply revolved around a modernized version of the Sandman".
However that doesn't change that fact that this movie still had a lot of good & heartwarming scenes, especially between two siblings. I wouldn't rate it the best but it's far from the worst. This movie was definitely still enjoyable. I'll rate it a fair 6.

This good example was missing in children films
This week they released the teaser of Toy Story 5, meaning Pixar is really desperate to ve hit, cause lately Elio was unwatchable.
So seeing my fair share of classic like Apples tv Luck or Netflix Inmaginium, there's joy to share n feel that missing in most children films today, taking me to In your Dreams.
There story touch subjects most missing out, Moving from home, separation of parents n having that wish could be real?
Sold me, of sister n brother duo n what em want, how their bond will take em to meet the sandman have their wish. Have perfect family, without facing the truth of matter. Really like they focus on how their parents re battling to stay together, n affect is having the kids.
The animation was divided which is good from this studio call Kuku, like the kamekameha scene, confusing me don't that's anime or dogwa or mahwa?
But hey sold me completely.
So conclude In your Dreams is pretty decent movie, that's focus on mature themes, that most children films don't touch.
With this year been reruns like the live action How Train Your Dragon. Feels they seriously running out ideas, but Star Wars Vision vol.3 Is best to experiment with something new.
Hype for Zootopia n subject is gonna bring, but remember animation is fantasy way, to make story.

Very deep and nice lesson to learn.
I really liked In Your Dreams. It's one of those films that quietly stays with you - not because it's loud or flashy, but because it speaks to something real. The story excited me with its lesson: the children's wish for everyone to be happy felt so valid, so deeply human. It's a longing we all share, especially when we're young and still believe happiness can be simple.
The protagonist just wanted a happy family, like everyone else. But the film doesn't stop there - it shows that each person carries their own dreams. The parents have theirs. The brother has his. And sometimes, those dreams don't align. What moved me most was the film's honesty: even if what we want doesn't work out, it doesn't mean everything is broken. There's still beauty in what remains.
The Sandman, who tries to give everyone happiness, represents that universal desire. But the movie gently warns us - too much happiness, or getting everything we want, can lead to chaos and unexpected consequences. That's a powerful message, especially for those of us who've learned that joy without grounding can be overwhelming.
And then there's Nightmara. At first, she seems like the antagonist. But the film flips that idea. It shows how fear, when understood, can actually give us confidence and protect us. Fear isn't the enemy - it's part of what makes us strong.
After I watched In Your Dreams, I immediately shared it with my friends. It's the kind of story that deserves to be talked about - not just for its visuals or plot, but for the emotional truth it carries. It reminded me that dreams, even when imperfect, can guide us toward something deeper.

It is a true joy!
The movie may have the min-nd fall off a bit in weather but it is what it is like for a kid when they are watching things fall apart. He takes a good twist with Sandman and nightmares. It is a feel good masterpiece for family fun. I do have one adjustment for going forward. The only negative is the designs they feel to Pixar and seem the standard face styles before. Take a risk outside the box and create some people designs that are different and carry a unique imprint. Keep making movies and telling stories.
