I can't even begin to describe how disappointing this movie is. The Telugu audience has evolved to appreciate quality cinema, regardless of budget, and often turns smaller films into hits. However, it seems like the directors and actors haven't updated their approach to match the changing tastes of the audience.

The misogynistic traits of the lead character, along with Ali's irritating performance, were unbearable. The glorification of women objectification was absolutely appalling.

Throughout the movie, I felt like walking out of the theater. If I had watched it at home, I would have sped through it just to avoid the unpleasant experience.

As a movie enthusiast, I usually make it a point to sit through a film, no matter how bad it is. But this one stands among the worst I've seen. Excessive action, vulgar dialogues, indecent gestures, and overacting never makes a movie good.

Bad storyline, bad direction, no meaning, over actions, cringe comedy which is not funny, too loud music. The team should watch the movies with their families before releasing it to public. Only then they'll understand how bad the movie is.

Indian directors make high impact on immature public mindset. By watching movies like this people think it's completely normal to look at women as objects. Everyone knows how much puri jaganath is obsessed with women, s*x and mafia. It's high time his movies should get banned.

When incidents against women occur people tend to blame government for weak punishments. No one talks about the impact of such movies on people. Actively or passively movies like this are responsible for such actions.

Every scene contains atleast one dialogue, hand action, gestures that objectify women. I wonder how movies like this gets license to showcase for public.

This movie falls short in several areas, starting with its plot and characters, which come across as silly and poorly developed. There's no proper connection to the prequel, making it feel disjointed for fans who were expecting continuity. The narration is loud and grating, which only adds to the overall unpleasant experience. Much of the film is uninteresting and boring, with the few moments that try to stand out instead coming off as cringe-worthy.

Ram, as expected, gives his best performance. He does what he can with the material he's given, but even his efforts can't lift the movie out of mediocrity. Sanjay Dutt is unfortunately underutilized and doesn't get the opportunity to showcase his abilities. Kavya Thapar brings some visual appeal to the film, but her role lacks depth. Ali's comedy, which might have been a saving grace, ends up being more irritating than entertaining.

The music fails to leave a lasting impression, and the direction feels outdated, lacking the freshness or creativity needed to engage a modern audience. Given all these factors, this movie is not one I would recommend. It's better to skip this one and look for something more worthwhile.

Unsure if Puri himself reads this review. I have always admired Puri for his dialogues and story telling. However, this movie was a hard watch. Glad that I skimmed it through on Amazon prime. Second half is painful. I don't know why they introduced Pragathi as old pochamma. The character lacks depth. There is no detail in character sketching and the plot is wafer thin. Ali's comedy is funny but he uses derogatory language often. Ram is too loud and he often uses filthy language as well. Sanjay dutt is wasted. Unsure why he is casted in the first place. I would request Puri to focus on the characterisation and the plot. Unwanted action sequences and unreal events are no longer appreciated by the audience.

I have always admired Puri's movies. This movie though changes all that. The guy was known for his originality and his unique creative story telling. This movie has very average screenplay, story and character. The excessive use of F words by almost all the characters is pretty shocking. It looks like the censor board slept through the movie and didn't catch all the cuss words. The final fight around the statue of lord Shiva was totally not required. It looks and feels like an insult to the statue of god. Ram's acting is good. He pulls of a very good accent required by the protagonist. As others have amply pointed out, the movie just doesn't click. Hope Puri comes back with a better movie next time and not this Halwa.
