Andrew . and his mother

The first temptation is to define it as touching. But, obvious, it is more. It represents a realistic portrait of loss and vulnerability resulting from it , about responsability of a teenager, forms of bullying against him, the solid friendship of a father buddy and his mother, profound affected by the death of her husband.

Beautiful performances, beautiful scenes - the dialogue between Andrew and Pappa Strings is just charming, like the final.

Not exactly a story but illustration of a state , familiar for part of us. I admitt, I like it very much and I am just grateful to director for this real fine work.
