Sierra Katow: Funt

This comedy show from Sierra Katow was a nice surprise.

Sitting in the UK on election night 2024, I needed somin to raise my spirits and the comedy show Funt did a great job, haha!

The show starts of a tad slow, but 5 minutes in Miss Katow gets into her rythum and is laying down some pretty hilarious comedy. And it's all up hill from there. The show gets funnier as it goes along and Katow's quirky character begins to shine. By the finale the audience is all in fits, and I was certainly laughing out loud on a fair few occasions.

Katow's comedy script is only mildly edgy, staying mostly on the right side of good taste, while still being very good humored.

All in all a very Funty comedy skit. Check it out! :-)

Now, I had never actually heard about comedian Sierra Katow prior to stumbling upon this 2024 comedy special by random chance. And of course I opted to watch it, as I might be missing out on a something hilarious.

However, I have to admit that her show wasn't really something that catered to my sense of humor. I wasn't really enjoying the material that she delivered, and I actually wasn't brought to laughter. So yeah, "Sierra Katow: Funt" didn't really entertain me particularly, yet I managed to sit through the entire hour that the show ran for.

It should be noted that she does have a good amount of self-confidence and she seems sure in her material, and she does manage to entertain the audience that were there for the filming of the special.

The material in the show is varied, and that is good. So she is not a one-sided comedian that only delivers below-the-belt-jokes.

If you enjoy stand-up comedy shows, it could be worth checking out "Sierra Katow: Funt". Who knows, it might just be your type of comedy that she delivers.

My rating of "Sierra Katow: Funt" lands on a four out of ten stars, as the show didn't really tickle me in any of the right places.
