Funny, clever, entertaining!
I love this show! Writing, characters, storylines are all amazing. Parents in particular will get a kick out of the subtle humor, which I love in animation. Reminds me a bit of Emperor's New Groove in its ability to blend humor and craziness into something fun for everyone. Can't wait for the next season!

Surreal animation's last stand
You can call me dramatic but I genuinely believe that this is one of the few cartoons left in the West which carries on that beautiful surreal style that Adventure Time put out. From the beautiful, bizarre art to the glib dialogue to the genuine, perfectly-captured "middle-school awkwardness" in the writing.
The shear number of character designs is staggering but what's even more impressive is that they're all animated beautifully. Especially the monsters on the island, all of whom perfectly capture the "mutant" vibe of experiments gone wrong.
Without delving too much into the characters and their dynamics, I think the show does an exemplary job at avoiding the heavy-handed "lessons" that Western animation (especially Disney) imposes, nor does it try too hard to be relatable in regards to its humor. In fact, between the writing and the vocal performances, you really believe that middle school "weird kids" were in the writers' room. And that's a good thing here, for sure.
The era where people cared about Western animation (at least at the executive level) seems to be drawing to a depressing close. Studios everywhere are giving up and Disney is one of the worst. StuGo is a breath of fresh air, and I really hope people will give it a chance.

Not very Disney like
The show has a good art style, catchy music, interesting characters and clever plots in the episodes, however, it doesn't really capture the same charm as other Disney cartoons. There are hardly any Disney references and the show feels out of place compared to other cartoons, such as: Big City Greens, Bluey, Hamster and Gretel, Kiff, Primos, and more. None of the characters even appear in Chibiverse or any of Disney Channel's interstitials in a way to properly acknowledge the show. Not only that, the humor and tone is a bit intense and surreal, as it can have an effect on younger viewers. Also, there are scenes where one of the characters gets hurt or does something inappropriate, which can look unsafe. Otherwise, the rest of the series is alright, but could some more development in the setting and the humor should appeal more to younger viewers than adults.

Wonderful show, I'd love more episodes
I almost finished watching the forty episodes and I made an IMDB account just to give this show 10 stars.
The animation style is so good, the characters are varied and lovable (I love the mutants), the humor is surreal just enough, the stories are very well made. Also I love that the episodes are just 10/12 minutes long.
I'm never bored watching this and I can never expect what the next episode will be about. Anything can happen, in a way the storytelling reminds me of a child safe version of Rick and Morty. That's a bold statement, but the variation in the character designs, the lighting, the surrealism of some storylines made me think of that.
It's 100% suitable for adults too and I think I would have loved it as a kid.
Overall it's a wonderful show, the only downside is that it's just 40 episodes of 10 minutes, so pretty short.

Laugh-out-loud absurdist adventure with a heart of gold
I hadn't seen any promotion at all for StuGo, online, on TV, nothing - I don't think I've ever been more shocked at the quality of a cartoon before. StuGo is easily the funniest Disney cartoon I have ever seen . The characters are adorable, memorable, and they never waste a line of dialogue - I'm not a super cartoon nerd, but I know I haven't laughed this much at one since early SpongeBob. StuGo fits at the head of the pack with modern staples like Gumball, Amphibia, and Craig of the Creek. It's clearly the most ambitious, expertly animated, hysterical show Disney has going for it. Push StuGo to the moon. <3.
