Avis à la une
It seems like people have forgotten the concept of satire! Soroush Sehat's latest series, You Only Go Around Once, has released 15 episodes so far. In each episode, the characters face a variety of situations that are either completely relatable or somewhat familiar to the audience. While the performances aren't perfect, the show earns a solid 70/100 overall.
There are so many laugh-out-loud moments that I've lost count. One standout aspect of the series is its use of satire , bringing iconic characters, situations, series, and movies into a hilarious new context that the audience can immediately recognize and enjoy. The show also incorporates satire effectively, especially when tackling moral dilemmas.
Pulling this off isn't easy-it's a fine line to walk. If done poorly, it could easily alienate the audience and drive them away. Fortunately, the creators have managed to handle it skillfully.
As for the haters who bash the show just because they don't fully grasp its concepts-don't let them deter you. Their opinions often feel like nonsense.

After watching this I took to social media to gauge public comments. What I encountered, people's reaction, was very harsh and unfair.
The people of my country are used to watching movies where the director and the actors do all the ridiculous things to get only a smile from the audience. Like sexual and nasty jokes. They do not know anything about the arrangement of the scene and the principles of filmmaking and proper scene design. They watch movies only for laughs and controversial stories.
It's true that when you watch this series, you don't have any story to tell the people around you, but instead, "Soroush Sehat" reminds you of a cinematic frame, friendly dialogues, intimacy and simple things that have been forgotten.
I wish that one day the Iranian cinema industry will find its principles in this direction.

Im pretty late to the party, i've been binging the show with family and just today noticed how the imdb score seems to be very odd, 4.8 surely it is an error, here i am now reading reviews portraying the show as some kind of sin to be commited, how, just how im amazed.
This show is actually not that bad not bad at all actually, the cinematography is a first in a while for iranian cinema. The show does look gorgeous. Sets and customs do seem to be very thought out and worked on.the comedy can be rough at times but at best it does deliver on a unique style. In fact i think it can sit amongst sourush sehat's finest work, its creative and provoking, it wont be the funniest thing ever but that doesnt mean its bad, not every joke has to be on point and not every joke is meant for just making you laugh. The cast does what it needs to and sometimes more.everything is in tone with souroush sehat's viewpoint of film, even an upgrade.
"You Only Go Around Once" while not even being bad, steps up from everyday comedy and challenges itself with cool new ideas. I think it'd be a waste of it goes unnoticed like this (or hated i guess)

Soroush Sahat is a good director, but this is his weakest and worst work. It's an unsuccessful attempt at a comedy that has no resemblance to Sahat's previous works. Even the actors don't seem to understand what genre they're working in. There's no doubt that this film will remain a blemish on the director's resume forever. It's unbelievable how he couldn't get decent performances out of the supporting actors in such a weak script.
It's unimaginable how Ali Mousafa could be so weak in this role. The rest of the actors, especially the supporting cast, do a noticeable bad job of acting. I never expected such a weak performance from a director of such caliber.
The comedy doesn't make you laugh or engage you. It's not a comedy, it's a mediocre TV series with empty and stupid characters that have no past or future. It's clear that the director didn't try his best, and the script's flaws are evident even in the trailer. I hope the director returns to his good days.

After a long time, I found a clean and unique comedy series with Iranian origin. This series penetrates deep into your being and takes you on a journey with this family with sweet comedy and the director's unique art. Unlike the comedies of the day, this series has distanced itself from stereotypes and presents a colorful world and a special and pure comedy to the audience. Enjoy every episode.
The wonderful and live music used in the episodes of this series is another strength of this series.
Also, the character of Neo and a passage on the Matrix, which the director has done very well.
In addition, the flashbacks on the memories of the characters are completely different and very lovely.
It was surprising to me that when two or three episodes of the series were released, people published their one-sided and illogical views on the badness of the series.
In my opinion, this series deserves much more than these words and it is a special masterpiece that may not be repeated in its kind.
