Surongo

SURONGO primarily comes with 2 acts...an introduction of a greedy wife, Moyna; how she manupulates and abuses her husband, Masud for money. In the 2nd act, the titular & more interesting 'Surongo' parts begins and I hoped this would get more focus from the beginning on a back and forth manner. Technically Rafi's film shines in the major areas i.e. Cinematography, lighting, background scores (mostly). The adult contents could have been handled more skillfully rather than throwing some random intimate scenes on the screen. Nisho & Shahiduzzaman Salim delivered best with their respective well written character arc. Though Toma Mirza did a competent job with her role, specially in dialogue delivery but with her "glamorous look" she felt kind of miscast for this part of a rural, deceitful femme fatale at times. The best part of the movie was its ending that will surely satisfy most of the moviegoers.

For the mass audience, Surongo is a great movie. Thrill, suspense, comedy, mystery it's all there. It's definitely not a family friendly film as it contains adult stuff and scenes (literally). Nisho nailed it as Masud. Toma Mirza's acting was somewhat believable but could have been realistic. Songs were good enough. The ending was epic too. Overall it's enjoyable and a great thriller.

As for the cinephiles out there, If you've seen enough thriller and mystery centric movies you'll definitely be able to predict what'll happen next during almost every scene of this movie (except for a SPECIFIC PART of the ending).

This movie became Blockbuster because of Afran nisho Acting skills and Raihan Rafi direction✅

He is a living legend in Bangladesh No one can't judge Afran Nisho Acting skills✅ he is a living legend in Bangladesh. Director Raihan Rafi is also awesome and Surongo is a best thriller and adventure movie of all time.

Bangladesh best movie this one i have ever seen no one can't judge Afran Nisho Acting skills. I want to say this movie is became Outstanding by the actor Afran Nisho. He is definitely is a great Actor in Bangladesh and Raihan Rafi is a great Director in Bangladesh🇧🇩 Eventually i want to say this is a best movie and Bangladesh No.1 Blockbuster Movie of all time✅

Superb entertaining movie and also superb acting by arfan nisho. An entertaining, realistic story. Amazing camera work overall likeable movie. Arfan Nisho's acting can't be compared to anyone else's acting. Nisho is the boss of acting. It was also the best work of director Raihan Rafi's career. All the aspects of this story are presented very beautifully and fluently. I hope he will give us more good works in future. Everyone who played the other characters did their best. Mustafa Manwar, Tama Mirza, Sahiduzzaman Salim thank you all. Hope they act regularly in movies. It was a very good job. Everyone should watch this movie.

Don't watch it as a Bangladeshi movie. It's attention to details will please you.

At the very least, you will not be disappointed that's for sure.

I watched an unique & awesome Bangla specially Bangladeshi Movie after a long time. The plot & acting is totaly outstanding. I think every Bengali Movie lover should watch this movie to realise that we are not so far from others industry.

One of the Best Films in all times.

Bangladeshi Movies are having a bad time but this was absolutely a Blockbuster. I just love Afran Nisho's performance. Toma was good though. But Shahiduzzaman Selim's performance was La-Zawab.

I really felt the message through the movie.

Definitely Recommended. ;)
