Avis à la une
Yeah, they skipped many things.
However, these things aren't important (klein eating, spending 3 chapters to buy his cane, 3 chapters to buy his house).
Its a premier, so it need to be entertaining.
They did a really good job about the pacing.
If you don't understand anything, don't worry, it was the same, maybe even worse, for us reader.
The animation is really, really good. I think I never saw that before. There is alot of details, in the flowers, for exemple. The song, especially the ending, are incredible too.
As a reader, it's clearly not a disappointment, and I didn't think the animation would be this good.
10/10.

TL:DR - Beautiful, but requires your full attention right off the bat.
Alright, it's a great visual experience; the visuals are dazzlingly beautiful.
The transmigration, gray fog, nighthawk introduction, psychic test, ravings and everything else is animated superbly.
I had some doubts regarding the pacing, which is alleviated slightly now that I've watched the first 2 episodes, but it's likely too fast for most anime-onlys. Make sure you read subs if you want to understand!
I feel as though they put less emphasis on the situation Klein found himself in. Just a brief mention of a problem at hand to which any normal person, including Klein in the source material, has some more thoughts to share on. Especially the fast-spoken chinese dub, which is admittedly the best chinese dub I've ever come across, still a bit fast though.
Speaking of the dubs, a non-simultaneous release of other languages may really hurt the series, alongside the poor Crunchyroll marketing and both episodes being premium-only.
That's about the only critique I could come up with, yeah it's really good. The chinese voice acting itself sounds very good, directing is amazing, soundtrack is godlike and we can already catch glimpses of The Fool's aura.
It's a very promising exposition with transcendent potential, hence my high rating, which could still vary if I find more striking issues. Very recommendable.

Based on the number one Chinese novel, the anime immerses us in the mysterious and dark world of LOTM through the character of Klein Moretti, a transmigrator from the modern world.
* Although the story seems to unfold a little too quickly for now (one must hold on), it accurately conveys the aura of mystery that one discovers when reading the novel for the first time.
* The animation is genuinely incredible, featuring a unique style that combines high-budget effects with fluidity.
* The music is striking and the Chinese dubbing is well done, effectively contrasting the personalities of the characters.
*The plot seems to align closely with that of the novel (for now), promising a significant success ahead!
*Conclusion : The anime world beware ! The donghua have arrived...

So guys LOTM is set in a Victorian-inspired world filled with secret organizations, ancient pathways, forgotten gods, and eldritch whispers, LOTM NOVEL slowly pulls you into a story that's as cerebral as it is thrilling. Every diary entry, dream, and tarot session contains a clue. LOM anime is kinda fast paced so Here's what I'd recommend paying attention to if you're starting the journey:
- The 22 Beyonder Pathways - Each one shapes the user's powers and destiny. Understanding who's on what pathway adds so much depth.
- Historical logs & Roselle's diary - They're not filler. They're the blueprint for everything.
- The timeline - Events that feel random early on turn out to be huge setups for future arcs.
- Organizations - From the Churches to the mysterious Orders, tracking who's allied with whom makes the political drama hit harder.
- Tarot Club scenes - Dripping with double meanings.
- Klein's inner monologue - You'll see the gaps between what he thinks is happening and what's actually going on.
- Outer gods and Lovecraftian elements - Start subtle, end cosmic. Trust me. If y'all need need a detailed guide please please check out @Emlyn white on YT or IG.

Wow! I must say this is an absolute breathtaking of a show I have watched in recent years. What a beautifully crafted animation and world. The production is insane. I have been hearing this about Lord of the Mysteries from novel readers for awhile. I thought they were glazing it too much. But nope. The glaze is 100% deserved. The story is a mystery and its my favourite genre of all. Our main character isn't someone pervert or idiot like a random isekai mc. He is smart and actually thinks before acting. The power system is one of the most well thought. And not to talk about the music itself. Its perfect for the shows setting. World is vast and beautiful Victorian steampunk era looks amazingly as it could be. First 2 episodes were but fast but the director said the issue would be fixed by episode 4 which they did. I dont get why people are so confused about the show. Like wtf? As a donghua only myself who doesnt watch any other extra content and understand it pretty much. Just read the fking subtitles. Also the hate is crazy and biased people saying they wont watch it cuz of chinese dub. Bruh they are doing really well and the Hermes voice acting is solid 10/10. Don't listen to the 1/10 reviews. They are just newly created bot accounts for review bombing. Seriously people watch it. Its amazing and will be even better in the later part. Its seems confusing? Its a mystery so what do you expect. It literally has more than 1400+ chapters. It might take over 200 episodes to finish the story. And some people judge it by only 2 episodes? Lol, the attention span of modern audience is even smaller than a goldfish and brains are rotten watching all these spoonfed shows. Did people forget about Steins; Gate and how confusing it was? But no its one of the best animes ever. Just let LOTM run before hating you losers. The current anime community seriously pisses me off.
