A captivating start that, as a Finn, resonates deeply

Midsummer is a magical time when cities empty out as residents retreat to the countryside and their cottages to enjoy the company of friends and family. If there's a time when society would be most vulnerable and feel the greatest insult, it's likely Midsummer.

The conscripts look and feel real. Waging a real war is not the first thing on their minds. Many just trying to get through their military service and return to their normal lives. They are not fully trained yet and are certainly not ready to find themselves in the middle of an invasion, unarmed, without coms or situational awareness, and facing a professional opponent.
