(14+) This series started off good but then really got lost in the weeds as it meandered around in the last half of the episodes. The Gods are a very real thing in this series, and they meddle and teach apparently - but it came off poorly at times. Also, the last four episodes were just a complete 180 when a minor female character suddenly takes over the plot! I can't say I've ever seen anything quite like it in Anime (as of yet). Lots of useless fan service, but it is the genre for it. I'd still recommend it, but mildly.

I tried to like this show but it has it's flaws, was slow and all over the place. First, it got real old calling the MC a narcissist over and over again. Maybe it's just me, but saying it once jokingly is one thing, but I lost count how many times they kept called him that.
Then everyone kept giving him a hard time like he was being a jerk, they were so focused on their dream, but forgetting that he was forced into moving there, and didn't care about his lifelong dream. Making him do all the chores. I think that's incredibly wrong.
I also think the ending is lame. You have this whole buildup and then this other character from who's hardly in the show come up at the very end. You can't expect people to enjoy an ending when they haven't even gotten to know a character or seen the two interact much at all. The whole show was just weird and made no sense. Just a let down really.

The show starts off with a very ordinary, almost traditional, feel to all the same genre shows. But when all those fantasy details with gods added in, it slowly comes to me that this isn't an ordinary one that you watch for entertainment only. All the characters don't tie to just "love" or just for fan service kind of stuff, every character has a different problem, a different backstory, and a different dream. It is unique that they decided to use gods to reveal the problems of those characters. Maybe you could resonate with a certain characteristic or problem of the characters, because it is related to real life, responsibility, free will, identity, personality, cost of being scared, expectations,... I think all of those have touched me deeply, so I feel like this is a great show. There are flaws, and the most noticeable one is how some fan service scenes are being used meaninglessly. It is a part of the genre, but I want to address that.
Apart from all of that, I think this is honestly the most unique harem anime I have ever watched. Overall, the show is very nice and can be watched for entertainment (or you can be a nerd like me).
