Alien Abduction

There is something special about this micro-flash film. It had me gripped from beginning to end. I could feel the dread and tension happening in the one and only scene that comprises the whole story.

Sometimes it is a challenge to review such a short film, but these are the positives about the film. The scene is done in a normal environment, with the patient Zoe (played by Lauren Parkinson) talking to her psychologist (played by Rich Gordon) about her experiences of alien encounters, while he crosses off tasks on a list (just a little foreshadowing happening here.) I like the juxtaposition between the situation in the room, and then the twist at the end, to top it all off. Even though this is a short cut, and not much is happening, there are moments when you think you know what is going on - with a vision that is shown to the viewer of an alien. Like me, I am sure you will appreciate the ending.

Overall, good acting, and the cinematography of the closeup shots are clever. I would recommend this to everyone, as it is a great 2-minute watch.
