Cryptic Triptych

Brilliant camera work throughout. Child acting direction done well even if the written character is weak.

Love the blood used in the first AI segment even if unrealistic. Second segment takes extraordinary use of B&W. Over-saturation and wide shots are arguably overused in last segment but still beat.

The plot, acting, shots, and suspense of the first segment was great but unfortunately felt a little underwhelming at times.

The last segment was also a bit comparatively boring, even if the whole thing was nice to look at.

I really did lose interest in the plot towards the end but ultimately ended the film satisfied. A fourth segment would have been nice but all three came together nicely regardless.
