Avis à la une
The story is about a basketball team of gifted children. An arrogant coach is given the duty to train them as a community service after he is found guilty of drunk and driving.
When I watched the trailer I was excited. I however found the movie to be little dragging. But no worries the movie has its heart touching moments.
Gifted people may come difficult to manage but have behavior like that of children. They are innocent at heart.
Music is average. Acting from the gifted people wins your heart, Aamir along with others is good as well.
Final Verdict: Do watch it along with family you won't be disappointed.

Sitaare Zameen Par is a pure and wholesome tale of human understanding. The movie might take some time to set up, but it's a complete ride of emotions, laughter, and drama. Aamir Khan is finally back with a worthy product, and it's a delight to see him in his element. It was just so refreshing to see Genelia, as if she never left the game. Dolly Ahluwalia, Gurpal Singh, and Bijendra Kala are sweet additions to the cast with their organic performances. All this apart, the real heroes of the movie are our very special Sitaare, who'll make you feel every emotion. The gags land well and make you chuckle.
The songs of the film blend in well but are mostly forgettable; except for the title track. The motivations behind multiple plot points have been showcased effectively. A few scenes felt like Aamir could've conveyed more through his eyes and facial expressions instead of relying so much on dialogue. The interval block wasn't conventional, but it was portrayed in a very sweet way with a thoughtful message. Overall, Sitaare Zameen Par is a wholesome, feel-good movie that will leave you smiling as you exit the theatre.
OVERALL 7/10.

Sitaare Zameen Par is a feel-good family entertainer that delivers its share of laughter, warmth, and emotional moments. The film keeps you engaged throughout - you hardly realize how time flies while watching it. It's filled with light-hearted scenes that bring smiles, along with a few touching moments that add depth to the experience.
While the movie is enjoyable, it doesn't break new ground in terms of storytelling. The plot is decent, but not particularly unique or emotionally stirring. If you're expecting the same level of emotional impact or brilliance as Taare Zameen Par, this one may fall short. That said, it still manages to hold its own as a breezy, engaging watch.
The performances are good across the board. The actors do justice to their roles, bringing charm and sincerity to their characters. However, none of the performances truly stand out as exceptional or memorable. It's a film that stays within its comfort zone - entertaining without aiming too high.
Overall, Sitaare Zameen Par is a solid one-time watch with a basic story. It's perfect for a relaxed family movie night, where you're looking for something light, enjoyable, and uplifting. While it may not stay with you long after the credits roll, it's certainly worth a watch for its positive vibe and heartfelt moments.

I liked the Spanish original and not so much it's sequel or even the American remake. I was skeptical about watching this loyal remake, fearing I wouldn't be able to appreciate in comparison with the original. However, R. S. Prasanna and Divy Nidhi Sharma have done a phenomenal job in adapting the film and especially the light hearted humor remain the best thing about this film. Next, it is the solid casting which does the trick and it is easy to connect to all these characters. R. S. Prasanna strikes a superb balance between humor and emotional scenes though it does get preachy a lot. With Aamir in the forefront, there was no chance of them going wrong with the remake. His honest performance is just too good and his comic timing is impeccable. I would rate it leniently solely because I ended up enjoying this as much as I enjoyed the original and that alone deserves the applause.

Watching Sitare Zameen Par is like stepping into True Detective Season 2 - a valiant attempt to recreate something unforgettable, but ultimately burdened by the shadow of its own legacy.
Just like True Detective's first season, Taare Zameen Par was a near-perfect blend of emotion, subtlety, and originality. It didn't scream; it whispered - and in those whispers, it told a story so universally touching that it redefined how we saw childhood, learning disorders, and even parenting.
Sitare Zameen Par, like True Detective Season 2, has all the tools: a solid premise, an emotional backbone, and a creator who clearly cares. It tries to explore similar themes of empathy and personal growth - but while it's good, maybe even very good in parts, it lacks the quiet magic and raw honesty that made the original so timeless.
Where Taare Zameen Par flowed like poetry, Sitare often feels like a script trying to recapture past glory. The heart is there, but it's a little more manufactured, a little more self-aware. It's louder, flashier, and less intimate - and as a result, it doesn't hit you in the gut the way Ishaan's story did.
So yes, Sitare Zameen Par is commendable - just like Season 2 of True Detective had its own charm and ambition. But when you're chasing the impossible standard set by a masterpiece, even good can feel like not enough.
⭐ Verdict: Worth a watch. But if you're expecting the same emotional transcendence as Taare Zameen Par, manage your expectations. Lightning rarely strikes the same place twice.
