Avis à la une
I wasn't disappointed, but the film could have been better given Aamir's standards.
Both halves are cute and short, with no real stakes or conflict, making it a harmless watch if you buy the simple setup in the beginning.
However, the premise-community service for DUI and focus on intellectually disabled people-feels unrealistic in India, making it hard to connect.
The story wasn't adapted enough for the local context. Aamir is good, Genelia is refreshing, but their subplot drags.
Basketball as the central sport adds to the foreign feel.
Overall, it's a decent, simple film-watchable, but not memorable.

The physical altercation with the head coach gets him suspended and to make things worse, he gets involved in a drunk and drive accident. He is sentenced to do community service to avoid jail term and is asked to coach the basketball team of specially abled. Gulshan is already in a rocky relationship with his wife Suneetha who wants to have a kid and Gulshan has his insecurities. How does Gulshan own up to his mistakes and start taking responsibility, starting with his team and what impact do these bunch have on him, forms rest of the story.
I liked the Spanish original and not so much it's sequel or even the American remake. I was skeptical about watching this loyal remake, fearing I wouldn't be able to appreciate in comparison with the original. However, R. S. Prasanna and Divy Nidhi Sharma have done a phenomenal job in adapting the film and especially the light hearted humor remain the best thing about this film. Next, it is the solid casting which does the trick and it is easy to connect to all these characters. R. S. Prasanna strikes a superb balance between humor and emotional scenes though it does get preachy a lot. With Aamir in the forefront, there was no chance of them going wrong with the remake. His honest performance is just too good and his comic timing is impeccable. I would rate it leniently solely because I ended up enjoying this as much as I enjoyed the original and that alone deserves the applause.

A feel good drama driven by humour giving some beautiful insights on life.
The plot of the story revolves around a Basketball coach who has to train a group of adults with down syndrome and how his interaction with them changes his attitude towards life and others around him.
Good writing by Divy Sharma well executed by R S Prasanna perfectly blending humour and fun without drifting away from the core storyline emotionally lifting the audience through some valuable and thoughtful virtues on life. The first half was more fun oriented while the latter half was more emotionally moving closely clinging to humour. Hats off to the casting directors for bringing the ideal talents to the showreel.
Brilliant performance by Aamir Khan showing the variations in the character precisely. The director has effortlessly pulled out the relationship dynamics and combo with Genelia and her performances was so charming and matured. Impressive performances by Dolly Ahluwalia,Naman Mishra,Ayush Bhansali, Gopikrishnan Verma, Simran, Rishi Shahabi & Gurpal Singh.
Good music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and exceptional background score by Ram Sampath adding more depth and feel to the emotional sequences. Kudos to the editor Charu for giving a feel good emotional entertainer.
A good one time watch movie with incredible performances leaving a good message.

I really loved the movie . It has everything a good movie should have . The scene and direction are on point , no offending jokes a little comedy with good messages and good plot. The plot was completely on plot no necessary scene . It is a good combo of emotions and important messages. It serves its purpose and that too very smoothly. I watched the whole movie with a little smile on face . The climax has my heart , it says a lot with just little words. I was satisfied with my money spend , it a good movie to watch with family on weekend, I didn't regret a penny spend in the ticket. If you Want a little hearted comedy with plot you should go for it.
Aamir Khan thought he played a master stroke by calling it a sequel to his national award winning all time blockbuster - Taare Zameen Par. But it has backfired. I still remember the first movie's amazing songs, background music and the moments that made everyone feel it in their throat.
Being an Aamir fan and knowing how involved he is in every part of the creative process I am disappointed with his work and even suspect an undignified motive of making a low budget project simply to fill back the bank.
The movie has boring to no background music, unmemorable songs, no eye watering dialogues, bland cinematography and camera work, jumping to hurriedly show blandly funny bits regularly makes this product imprecisely half baked.
The only thing noteworthy are some of the scenes shot by the special people. Considering their condition, them being able to pull off hectic shooting schedules is extraordinary.
I hope Aamir is still able to bounce back in the future rather than living with the fact that he has lost the knack of mr. Perfectionist.
Still watchable compared to most Bollywood films nowadays but for him we can expect much much more.
I'll rate it 6.5/10.
