Blodsuger

Blodsuger Is Kasper Juhl's darkly original modern take on Vampires. This is what I feel vampires would be like in real life. Ultraviolet, oversexed hedonist with no real respect for humanity.

This movie is shot like a documentary as it follows our main vampire Viktor. He seems to be on a quest to escape his creators grasp and transform a life partner of his own.

It's a simple story in concept but it's in the execution that brings out its originality. The movie almost comes off as way more fun and vampiricly stylish "August Underground". Mind you not as realistic looking or extremely disturbing as that film. But theamactily similar in a sense that you're following around these vicious murderers documenting their day to day escapades.

The actors are fun and good looking with plenty of skin being shown. And I particularly got to mention that This might be my favorite role that Mie Gren has done. She's always great but here particularly shes fantastic! She brings a lot of manic energy as a homeless woman turned uncontrollable vampire that Viktor can't stand. Their fight has to go down as one of the all time best vampire fight scenes

Over all I really loved this film! Hopefully this movie finds the cult fan base it deserves.
