Avis à la une
I have watched 7 episodes so far and already I am feeling like I don't want this series to end (there are 15 episodes in total so we are half-way). I had a lot of expectations for this drama, because Anson Lo and Edan Lui are two actors I love to watch based on their hugely entertaining and successful remake of Ossan's Love Hong Kong version. This time round, they are cast as the male leads in this remake of a hit Korean drama, and I couldn't contain my excitement. And the great news is, they really don't disappoint! Anson Lo's Timo is a drop-dead gorgeous CEO who is a bit too into himself, while Edan Lui's Alfred is a caring PA who takes care of all the details. They are both playing characters in this drama that are different from roles they had played before, but they play as good brothers in this drama which meant they are perfectly cast as they are best friends in real life, and their camaraderie with each other is palpable through the screen.
What is really impressive is the great chemistry between Anson Lo's Timo and Hanna Chan's Hollie. Hanna had already starred in two of Anson's music videos before, so I already knew that they look great together as an on-screen couple. What is surprising is how well they play against each other in dialogue. Especially in the fifth episode, when they went on that first anniversary date, they are oh-so-sweet together. In the sixth episode, when Timo was fantasizing about unmasking Hollie's double identity at the company ceremony, Hollie absolutely aced the comic timing and pacing. Timo's solo scene when he was realising he has developed feelings for Hollie was also very touching (but me and lots of fans were also distracted by Anson's rippling back muscles in his tight top :D).
I'm really looking forward to watching the rest of the episodes, but at the same time I don't want this series to end too soon. This Hong Kong version has been very thoughtful in the edits made to the script to include meaningful references to the local culture, and to Canto speakers, the dialogue is snappy and full of up-to-date cultural references. This Hong Kong remake version has remained faithful to the Korean version in plot and set-up, but they also infused this drama with local Hong Kong flavour, and as a diasporic Hongkonger, I am grateful for these respectful nods to my home city. I am hopeful that people would be open-minded about this Hong Kong remake version the way they had been open-minded about Ossan's Love Hong Kong version. This is a remake version that does justice to the original version, and we can enjoy and appreciate both.
I will definitely continue to watch this!!

I haven't watched Korean dramas before, so I didn't have any particular expectations for this Hong Kong version. I approached it as a light comedy to enjoy after dinner. However, after watching the first episode, I found the story quite captivating, and I'm eager to see how it unfolds. The Hong Kong version has incorporated many local elements, making it light-hearted and amusing. The male lead, Anson Lo portraying the high-and-mighty, narcissistic CEO, performs very well, striking the right balance. The female lead also delivers a stellar performance, and the supporting cast is impressive too. The adaptation includes a lot of relatable elements, creating a light, humorous romantic drama. Overall, it's a highly recommendable series .
Bossy, narcissistic Timo found himself in big trouble when he went for a blind date, the almighty Boss fell head over heels in love with one of his staff and realised there is finally one thing he can't conquer. Lovely and charming Hollie found herself got stuck in a difficult situation when she stood in for her friend to a blind date and found out the counterpart of the match making was her boss. Whether their love blossom and find their destiny?

This is a remake base on the Korean Drama Business Proposal from Hong Kong . The two main actors playing CEO Timo by Anson Lo and his secretary Alfred by Edan Liu are both very handsome and the acting was very good . The two main actresses did well too especially Hanna Chan . I can easily felt the chemistry between Timo and Hollie. It was romantic Hong Kong version was filmed adding Hong Kong culture and in comic book style , which is cool and very funny. The pace was faster when compared to the Korean version , which I like . Overall, well made and I enjoyed it very much .
Highly recommended.

Business Proposal is a must-watch for anyone who enjoys a romantic comedy. It originated from a web drama which was later made into a webcomic and a Korean TV drama. The Viu TV Production Team has remade the drama and preserved the comic style while adding a fine touch of the Hong Kong local culture and customised lines to associate this drama with the actors' personal experiences. Anson Lo (@ansonlht) stroke a well-thought-out balance between the main character Timo's egocentrism as a genius at work and cuteness as a relatively late bloomer in love. Hanna Chan (@hannachanx) played Hollie's shy innocence and Mei Ling's seductive acts with slight arrogance just right. Timo and Hollie's interactions are fun and heart-warming to watch. It's cuteness and romance overload that will surely alleviate some stress from daily life.
