Avis à la une
How Did This Get Made?
I wanted "Suits with women." I got the Kardashians playing dress-up in a legal drama costume. Ep 1 of "All's Fair" is so spectacularly bad I couldn't make it past the pilot... life's too short for this catastrophe.
Kim Kardashian isn't an actress. She's a reality TV personality reading lines like a hostage reading demands. Every scene she's in dies on screen. Watching Naomi Watts and Glenn Close forced to pretend this is real television feels like witnessing a crime against talent.
The script sounds AI-generated. Characters spout catchphrases instead of dialogue: "Business is how I unwind"? "Let's put the team in teamwork"? Murphy's direction mistakes expensive wardrobe changes for actual storytelling. Cases resolve with magical convenience. Nothing feels earned, real, or remotely compelling.
This isn't prestige television... it's an embarrassingly expensive vanity project that wastes a stellar supporting cast. The fact this has a $70 million budget while actual good shows get cancelled is criminal. One episode was more than enough.
2/10 - An absolute train wreck.

Painful
Ignoring Kim's blank face acting, the writing is so unfunny and unserious. This show is pure fantasy that is not clever enough to keep actual intelligent women engaged. I'm sad that Naomi, Niecy, Sarah, and Glenn signed on for this after such illustrious careers. Netflix really threw monopoly money bags at Ryan Murphy to crank out trash with big names.
Luxury brand commercial: lots of gold, no substance
There are so many good actresses in here, so many stars. That might be a secret reason why the script was probably purchased on Temu.
Cases solved with a click of fingers, a woman cheats on her husband, leaves with her jewellery when he wants a divorce.
'Catch phrases':'lets put the team in the teamwork.' 'Business is how I unwind.' 'And I will do what I do the best: change your fking life.' 'Do you know what I am?' 'love and war. You chose war. We won it.'
Lol, why it sounds like a teenage girl writing a line for herself with the only motivation in mind: I want to sound cool. I repeat, not clever, but cool.
Chat gpt would have done a better job writing a script.
Direction is a copy of any luxury brand commercial: angles, slow motion, cool music, and zero sense.
So many explanatory dialogues - thats like screenwriting mistake 101. 'Let me explain who I am.' Let me explain how long we were doing this. 'Let me explain to you my dear colleagues of many years how I work.' Let me tell my husband locked me in the house, he controls me, I cant do anything, so thats why I called you, and now I am here, and its totally fine.'
Its so trashy that its funny. It makes me think of those theories that Twilight was filmed as a comedy, and here I get the same feeling.
Only one comment on Kim's acting, it is an illustration that you cant buy everything. But I did hope that out of dignity they would put her in the secondary roles and let her grow.

WOW!!! Mind numbing.....
10 minutes and I want I abandoned it. Not even sure what to say. Not sure what is worse, the over acting or the horrible dialog. So much wasted talent. I did laugh when everyone's face doesn't move from all the botox. It feels very anti-feminist and anti-empowerment. I usually really like Ryan's stuff, but is a new low.
Shockingly bad
I'm a big fan of both Ryan Murphy and most of the starring actresses of this show, so I was very much looking forward to it.
It must have been about fifteen minutes into the pilot episode when I started asking myself what this really was, and why it was so bad. I'm actually very surprised by it, having seen most of Murphy's work with great admiration. This was just dissapointing. The storylines and dialogues are sometimes painful to watch, three stars mainly go to Watts, Paulson and Close.
