Vampire Genesis

My review is for the amazing cast and crew of VAMPIRE GENESIS!

With no visual effects team, they took a journey with me to tell a story that we feel is unique and different. Working only on a budget of what I could spare from my pocketbook, they had faith that we could finish this Production, giving of the talent, skill, and emotion they possessed. From the youngest actors, who amazed me with their creativity, to the more experienced talent who brought their A-game, I thank you and salute you!

Thanks to my wife and other family who supported this effort in various ways, my Mom and Dad (now deceased) who let us dig and burn the field on their farm :) , my very funny buddy Jimmy Gatlin, who was taken by cancer... I won't forget you! My mentor and friend James A. House, my oldest son, who pulled my fat out of the fire many times, my youngest son, who produced musical compositions, my daughters who participated and let me cast THEIR children in various parts... the many other talented musical artists and crew... Thank you!

This is Part I, and the rest of the story has been shot. I can't wait for the world to see Vampire Genesis, Part II, the finale of this film. We had a lot of fun, and I hope everyone who blesses us by watching it is entertained and has fun as well!

I loved this movie, but now I feel cheated. Where is the end of this movie. There was nothing to suggest more of this is going to be made. What a kill joy. The end credits came up and I was expecting the movie to keep playing. That is a huge disappointment for me. Sorry to say but I feel like I have been cheated out of the end of the movie. Why didn't they finish the movie? It had drama, a great storyline, action. That ending felt shut down. Like it was suddenly cut short. Does not leave me looking for the one to follow this one to watch. Actors did a great job. I was waiting to see what was going to happen to the vampire queen.

Really? 5+ for this horrible creation? Nothing suggested this film was serious: the acting (so false and unprofessional), the effects (childish and so fake - you can actually see the errors and cheap effects), the story line (does not deliver though acted properly and the actors spent more time to make us believe, then maybe, just maybe an extra star would have been given. You really need to be among the few great writers, directors, producers to come up with a worthy film. This is not worthy! It is a film I would show my students on what NOT to do when creating a movie. There was scene or two that I found interesting and if only the rest of the film was thought up that way, there could have been some life in the film. Personally, it was dead after the first 10 minutes.
