The Occurrence in River Oaks is a simply fantastic high quality audio drama, & very scary too! It's quite reminiscent of classic frightening films by George Romero or John Carpenter, but also evokes the spirit of old school Lovecraftian old gods mythology as well. Listen and learn the fate of the small community of River Oaks that is caught in the deadly crosshairs of an unknown (but very terrifying) otherworldly evil! The ambience & terror increasingly builds to a dramatic conclusion that will leave you shocked! Incredibly well written, directed, produced, & acted, it's a "must listen" for any horror fan! It's so well done, it's almost easy to forget that it is audio only-the story just comes to life! Definitely worth your time, & the creator behind it all is one to watch!

This podcast is so enjoyable to listen to! The story is different, and it's a nice change! I've never heard a story like it. The writing is great, I enjoyed the voice acting and the production of the creature sounds. They set a very good scene,and made it tense and thrilling. It certainly keeps you listening on the edge of your seat. I highly enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone interested in something unique and well done.

This is definitely one of the most entertaining audio dramas I have ever come across. Let me start by saying that I absolutely deplore audio dramas. I have never been able to finish one because they usually fail to pull me in. Not so with this one. I was pulled in until the end. I can't believe that it actually left me wanting more instead wishing it were over. I'm hoping they do more content to expand even more upon the story. Maybe a prequel to explore the origins. I would also be insanely curious as to what happens next. I'll definitely be keeping an eye open for more stories from Rogue Luna.

The acting here is superb, as is the story. You can feel the influence from some of sci-fi and horrors greatest like The Thing, Invasion of the Body Snatchers and even del Toro from Mimic if I'm not mistaken. There's a whole layer of freaky body horror when stuff really ramps up and the whole "nothing is as it seems" vibe was eerie from start to finish. Wonderful characters brought to life by fantastic actors and sound design that fully immerses you into the titular town. One of the best audio drama I've ever listened to. Cannot wait for more! Season two and also heard there's going to be a spinoff prequel series!
