Avis à la une
Brilliant!
Absolutely adored this! Such a great show, and I loved how they built the storyline and characters up so it could literally have been anyone of them who was the killer. Had me hooked from the first episode!
I watched this initially because Victoria Justice ( Who Plays Lindy) was in this, growing up watching teen shows she had been in, it was great to see her in something more mature and serious. And all in all she played the part really well.
Great Soundtrack in this show too, very disappointed MTV wont be renewing for a new season though, especially with the cliff hanger end. Thats the only fault I had with this show, the ending could have lead to another season and essentially a completely different story. Surprised they didn't do that if i am honest.

good basis for a storyline but unrealistic scenarios
I thought it was a good concept for a crime drama - serial killer meets stalker who hunts on a social media dating platform. Not too bad at all. They don't spare the gruesome crime scenes.
BUT the scenarios of having a member of the public (Victoria Justice) go bust down doors with the cops, work on a case, talk with suspects, etc. That really irritates me - that the show couldn't follow the protocols of the law, to make it as real as possible. She even calls the shots and makes the decisions in the dept.
Too ridiculous and far fetched for reality. If they only managed to find an angle for a story to tie all that in, and at least follow all the protocol and procedure of law enforcement, i would easily double my rating of this series.

A Gripping Tech-Thriller with Unfulfilled Potential
"Eye Candy" offers a thrilling ride through the world of cybercrime and online dangers, anchored by a strong performance from Victoria Justice as Lindy, a hacker determined to track down a serial killer targeting people through a dating app. The show combines suspense, mystery, and modern-day fears of technology to create a tense atmosphere that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The series excels in its portrayal of the dark side of the internet, with plot twists that maintain a steady level of suspense. The supporting cast is solid, and the show does a commendable job of balancing the thriller aspects with Lindy's personal journey, making her a relatable and engaging protagonist.
However, despite its strong start and intriguing premise, "Eye Candy" was cut short after just one season, leaving many plot threads unresolved and fans craving more. The lack of a proper conclusion may frustrate viewers who are drawn into its world, but it still remains a worthwhile watch for those who enjoy fast-paced, tech-based thrillers.

Not that great
The show is pretty basic,The main character tries online dating and then gets the attention of a killer. The killer starts stalking the main character while going on a killing spree. The acting is average all around. Stupid plot twists like a character getting kidnapped in front of a drive through full of cars. Uninteresting characters and none of the actors having any presence on screen. I can't see this show having a second season with such a simple story. It could improve as a show but this first episode is nothing more then average. Guess we will wait and see if the series improves though I seriously doubt it. Not great 6/10
better than I expected
I was expecting a totally PG series, considering that Victoria Justice is involved. However, this is a completely different role for her. Justice has shed her good-girl image in this new series and in all honestly it's pretty impressive. With a collection of bad-ass digs and dark lipstick, Justice takes on a darker role than her previous ones.
Sure, the show doesn't have much of a star-studded cast and doesn't showcase any incredible acting, but then again one of MTV's most popular shows "Awkward." started off the same way.
In my opinion, I would give this show a chance. It may seem like the typical cliché teen drama that Hollywood seems to dish out so often nowadays, but there's something else that has yet to be seen. I believe there's potential in this series; there's definitely somewhat of a uniqueness since it revolves so much around modern technology and pop culture. Plus, the show has so many interesting story lines within one episode and there are so many plot twists that will leave you sitting on the edge of your couch.. literally.
So I don't know about anyone else, but I will be sticking with the show and seeing where it goes from here.
