When I saw the trailer, I hoped for something rooted in our tradition - Gajaana gave me even more. It gave me the feeling that the Yaali - our fierce, divine guardian - had finally found its place in cinema. The way the forest breathes, the curses unfold, and ancient powers rise... it felt like our ancestors' stories finally came alive. I won't pretend it's flawless - but that's not the point. The film's purpose is to awaken something lost, something wild and sacred. As a fan of Tamil folklore and myth, I felt proud. I logged back in after a long time specifically to share how some filmmakers manipulate reviews. I haven't seen anything as disappointing as this. The dialogue, VFX, and story were all very poor. I honestly can't find a single positive thing about this movie, so please don't waste your time on it.

The visuals, especially the blood effects and animals, were among the worst I've ever seen.

To make things worse, they even announced a part 2. It feels like the movie was made on a budget of less than 50k.

I genuinely want that hour of my life back and wish I could erase the memory of watching it.

It was an unpleasant experience, and I don't think anyone should have to go through it.

I seriously wish there was a way to hold the creators accountable for putting such low-quality content on the platform.
