I also could have written "love is a battlefield" .. because the man is a soldier (forgive my over explaining, but some may not have seen the movie - so no pun intended). Will that even matter for you? Tough to say to be honest.

There is romance in the air, there is a shy first flirt ... and then there is a back and forth (timeline wise) to show us where the characters end up "today". I would say what the movie might be hiding under the guise of a twist ... I think is quite clear ... we are not blue (whatever that may mean) ... I do like the color, but that is besides the point.

The movie is there to show that we should live life to the fullest - to enjoy and cherish even the smallest moments. And also to do what we love to do ... with the people we love to do it with (no pun intended once more)

One of the most beautiful, emotional and original romantic dramas of the last decade! One time watch is not enough.

Kerem Bürsin the greatest dramatic actor of his time and now also a screenwriter. Through the love story, the film raises important psychological questions, its deeper interpretations make you think. Much more than just a movie. Its visual display is of unparalleled beauty. In addition to the cinematography, I would also like to highlight the film's music, which is also overwhelming.

I will definitely be rewatching it many times.

In short, another great story with Kerem Bürsin.

I loved to idea of the movie, it was a highly creative story, very well written. Every dialogue had the meaning and hidden message.

The last 30 minutes of the movie I could not stop crying. It was so heartbreaking. If you don't tear up watching the very last scenes, then your heart is made of stone.

The actors played their roles extremely well, especially Kerem Bursin as the main character Cem. I think that this movie is a turning point in his career and we will see him even more in international projects. Playing in local turkish things is just not enough for someone who is as talented as him.

I want to avoid spoilers, so I won't go into details, but I definitely recommend watching this movie. It will leave you with a very special feeling and make you think about life.

The film has a faster pace at the beginning and slows down as the plot progresses.

We are introduced to Cem, a Marine who has no flair for romance and with Alara, an archaeologist who is reluctant to get involved with Cem because her work as a soldier offers many risks, and she wants something stable, something he cannot offer.

The plot unfolds simply, with the couple's difficulties and how they deal with them and the veiled promise to go to the Blue Cave.

When we reach the end, in the final plot, the viewer is surprised by the twist in the plot, perhaps if the film had more time on the unfolding of some actions or more screen time for the main couple. The end of the film would have more impact, an extra 10 minutes would have been enough in my opinion.

Finally, it is a good film for those who like the style of romance, adventure, the plot is not deep and does not ask you to dwell on it, but it asks you to understand the motivations of the main couple and try see through their eyes.

The characters make plans for the future and hope of realizing them someday. Their dreams come to promises, promises are about to be fulfilled, and a wonderful tomorrow seems so close, when suddenly... The shadow drowns the future without any compromise.

The personages act according to their life plan, and their "plan" is just a dream of a better life. Of course, a dream is not a plan and the film shows it from the first scene.

Stories about how someone manages to change his life or help somebody are doomed to failure. Just because you don't know what is best for someone else, accept it. Life repeatedly makes us learn this bitter lesson, and this film is proof of that.
