Avis à la une
This webseries is one of the worst creation of Anurag Kashyap.
With too much efforts (internally I was forced to switch off TV but still managed to see 2 episodes) saw 2 episodes which were available.
First thing, Disney Hotstar OTT is using bad tactics by posting 2-3 episodes at a time and keeping viewers hanging. If webseries is interesting, still, people wait for more episodes but this webseries is not worth waiting for more episodes.
Old and very predictable story. Good casting but it failed to add any value to poor naration by the director.
Could have been better if director would have given a thought on interest of viewers. Instead, director made this at own will and style and ultimately viewers are wasting time.

Gulshan Devaiah consistently delivers compelling performances, and it's always a treat to watch him bring his unique flair to the screen. His ability to immerse himself in diverse roles makes him a standout actor, and he does not disappoint here. Similarly, Anurag Kashyap, known for his naturalistic style, brings a grounded and authentic approach to his work. His knack for creating relatable, complex characters shines through, enhancing the overall experience. Harleen Sethi also deserves commendation for her role, demonstrating impressive skill and depth.
However, as someone who loves to binge-watch series, I found the episodic release format somewhat challenging. I often prefer when all episodes are made available at once. This approach allows me to fully engage with the story without interruptions, enabling a more immersive experience. When episodes are released weekly, it can disrupt the flow and diminish the sense of continuity that binge-watching provides.
Additionally, while the series is engaging, there are areas where it feels like something is missing. The narrative could benefit from a greater sense of suspense or an "X factor" that would make it more gripping. At times, the story seemed to lack the depth and intrigue needed to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. An injection of unexpected twists or more intricate plot developments could elevate the series significantly.
The background music (BGM) also plays a crucial role in setting the tone and enhancing the viewing experience. In this series, the BGM occasionally felt underwhelming. The right soundtrack can amplify the emotional impact of key scenes, and a more dynamic or evocative score might have helped to fill the gaps and intensify the drama. The overall auditory experience seemed somewhat flat at times, which might have contributed to the feeling that something was lacking.
In summary, while the performances by Gulshan Devaiah, Anurag Kashyap, and Harleen Sethi are commendable and contribute significantly to the series' appeal, there are elements that could be improved. The episodic release format, while suited to some viewers, poses a challenge for those of us who prefer to consume content in one go. The story could benefit from more suspense and unexpected developments to keep viewers thoroughly engaged. Additionally, a more impactful and varied background score might help in enhancing the overall atmosphere and emotional resonance of the series. Addressing these aspects could elevate the series from a solid watch to a truly standout experience.

Bad cop is the masterpiece that seamlessly blends intense drama, brilliant storytelling, and exceptional character development.
In first one or two episodes you may will not like but as you continue to watch next episodes you will enjoy it. You will be immense yourself in the story.
Same you will thought for the main role Arjun/Karan but as you continue to watch you will surely like his acting. Khan acting also superb.
Need to add more politics.
Addition of few more character and expanding the story may be more attractive and will be more curious.
Waiting for season 2. Hope so it will release soon.

Story of twin brothers, one is cop and other is a thief. Story starts with a murder of a journalist. Kazbe aka Anurag Kashyap plays the role of a gangster. Story goes through chasing between cops and poaching racket and a wild entry of CIB (CBI) investigation into this mess. But the plot of the story binds you on screen whole time.
Salute to Anurag Kashyap and Gulshan Devaiah both for their humour and mind blowing action. Kazbe aka Anurag Kashyap put life into character, without him and his humour the series will not be successful. Acting of Gulsan Devaiah is normal as usual. Harleen Sethi aka Devika as SHO, Mumbai police is appropriate. It proves how seasoned actress she is.
But this series couldn't come out from typical stereotypes. Same conventional concept of corruption in system we almost used to be seen. But a murder investigation and 'Chor police' clashes together in a series is a new one.
As every episode of this series has came on each Thursday, I felt it was intentionally delayed. And an average of 30 minutes episode is not sufficient. But it grows its' own interest rate more. The series in season 1 didn't tell us full story, hope that season 2 will be soon.

It is fun, it has a story, it is Anurag Kashyap.
I always felt Anurag Kashyap was too deep. This is like by the so called "smart." But smart don't always like dark. Anurag Kashyap movies are too dark.
So theoritically if Anurag Kashyap tries something dark but more fun, more relaxed, and not so serious or deep...
Let us see.
Also, OTT is on decline, not just Bollywood. There simply is too much mediocrity dictated by audience's taste. Maybe story tellers need to write what the audience needs and not what it already likes.
If you only watch something you believe in or like, you never learn anything.
